Aroma: Caramel, vanilla and subtle agave. Flavor: Pepper and vanilla. Nice and smooth. Finish: The finish is long and lingering. Exactly what I want in a tequila. Value: Good value. Definitely something I would buy to have at home.

Aroma is slightly medicinal with notes of agave and clay/dirt. Definitely follows suit from the blanco and no oak/barrel in the aroma. Interestingly, I believe they say they age on the long side (10/11 months) for a repo. Nice flavor with a slight caramel sweetness, agave, and black pepper spice. Finish is moderate to long.

This has a nice rounded mouthfeel and spicy finish, with a peppery nose.

Good effort but falls short for the price. If it were $10-15 cheaper it'd get a better rating from me. A fine sipper with common notes. Nothing really stood out. There are much better options at the near $50 price.

Tasted neat at room temperature. Very nice oaky sweet aroma rounded out with cooked agave. Flavor is pleasant but includes a slight alcohol burn. Somewhat bitter finish. Good sipper overall.

Review #295 - Arta Tequila Reposado

The Arta tequila bottle will grab your attention to be sure. Triangle shape, nice label and artsy presentation. It looks good on a bar, but I'm more interested (as always) how it sits on the palate.
