Starts with a small blast of alcohol and fresh agave notes. Vanilla and almonds with a touch of bitterness. Some pepper... Decent but nothing to write home about...

40% abv., LOTE: G0116ANEXP:1, acquired recently, tasted on 5-20-24. Color: dark yellow to light brown. Aroma: light cooked agave, light black pepper spiciness, light wood note, light cinnamon, hint of caramel, after 20 minutes the wood notes become more intense. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, wood note is too dominating and ends slightly astringent. Finish is medium to medium long, hint of cooked agave, cinnamon, hint of black pepper and dominating wood notes persist.
