Amazing aroma and flavor but all that flavor loses the agave taste. I love drinking it but for the cost I think there are better more natural tequilas.
One of the smoothest Tequilas, no doubt, would be a treat for even non-Tequila drinkers or first timers!
Extra smooth
Nice and smooth with a good taste.
Two words: Brach’s caramel. Not a complex tequila, but damn tasty. Like retro carnival candy...without the carnies. Deliciously smooth, medium sweetened extra Añejo with a caramel apple finish, leaving those who are lucky enough to sip this one wanting more.
Nice aroma of cherry, oak, caramel , hint of chocolate and tobacco. Very light body with lots of peppercorn, spice and hints of the cherry, vanilla and oak on the back end. Short hot finish that lingers just enough.
Caramel & vanilla, very sweet with a great finish

Very Carmel
I have to admit....when I first saw Amor Mio at a tequila store in Playa Del Carmen, I thought the bottle was absolutely gorgeous but I was worried about the quality of the tequila.... shouldn't judge a book by its cover, and all that.... Fortunately, the store had the Amor Mio available to sample.... and from that moment on, I KNEW I had something special. Clearly, Tequila Aficionado agrees.... :) I bought the blanco for the contents..... I DID admittedly buy a bottle of the extra anejo primarily for the beauty of the solid ceramic, hand-painted bottle....it makes a perfect decanter and looks incredible! LOTS of agave, wood, vanilla, spice.... I'm not usually an extra anejo kinda guy.... like my agave pure and clean.... but this is one of my all time favourite aged tequilas!
This is my all time favorite tequila. It's known as a bit of a tourist trap tequila because of it's fancy bottle that catches the eye. Smell is caramel, low alcohol and pleasant Taste is sweet, slightly citrus with nice Woody undertones and drinks incredibly smooth. If you like a tequila will a strong finish and lots of heat this is not a pick for you. If you are taking friends through a tequila tour or trying to get them to get past bad experiences with crappy tequila, I can't imagine a better option.
This has mellowed out a big since we opened it 4+ years ago. Smoother now than before with a little pepper hit at the end. (85 originally) Gone even longer than the previous tasting and super smooth. Can actually taste cherry and vanilla. If this breaths for a long time - it’s really good. There is only the still a little pepper hit on the end.
I like a good long finish and I just don't get that here. I think this is a great intro tequila. It's sweet and smooth which can pull people in who are otherwise turned off by tequila.
Initial flavor came very interesting, with a sweet almost banana bread taste which mellowed into a spice flavor. Very light on the pepper. The finish was long and enjoyable. One to savor after a good meal.
Butterscotch and caramel flavors. Very light (too light) for an extra anejo.
Intense oak flavor. Nice sweetness.
great aroma , nice flavor with just enough agave flavor balanced with a smooth semi sweet finish .
Susan's purchase in San Lucas. Nice bottle. Good contents...

May be great for bourbon drinkers but not my preference. Also too expensive. Nice bottle so I will probably add to my collection. Hope I can find it for less in Guadalajara.
