Tried this at La Buena Vida in North Akumal, Mexico. Aroma of caramel, oak and vanilla. Flavors of vanilla and crème brûlée, a little too sweet but very smooth finish.

Nice clear caramel color. Legs come down the glass fairly quickly, and don’t leave many tears. Nose: All I could initially smell was wet decayed wood. It was not pleasant at all. After letting it open up the aromas were pretty complex. Vanilla, and oak dominated, but there were hints of cider, hay, tobacco, tamarind, coffee, leather, toffee, walnut and maple. Taste: Heavy barrel influence. Caramel, vanilla, oak, cinnamon, coffee, dark chocolate. Finish: Not a great finish. Its mostly roasted walnut with apple cider vinegar. Pretty good añejo, but at the price point Id probably buy something else. The initial aroma, and the finish were the biggest let downs. Beautiful bottle.

I read what everyone else says... I get a little different take. Nose - maple/butter, pancake maybe? Vanilla, oak Taste - maybe subtle raisin, vanilla, butter, cooked agave, oak. It’s subtle in ways, complex. I do like it. Truth my disappointment isn’t really flavor, it’s more that it doesn’t live up to the packaging. Lol, the bottle is beautiful, elegant and well made. It’s not gimmicky too me. Someone went to a lot of trouble to design and execute this display. Really the down fall is it’s a good tequila in an amazing bottle. Lol

Aromas of Exotic spices, coconut, toffee, caramel, toasted almonds, tangerine. Amazing weight and body, lush viscosity. Hedonistic super smooth and elegant. Curvaceous and slutty too.

Suave, exquisito, con aromas y sabores a madera. Comienza en el paladar un poco fuerte y picoso, continua con una suavidad un poco dulce y termina dejando en la tráquea un poco del picante suave exquisito.
