Sweet nose. Candy, had me concerned about additives at first. Agave and citrus In the glass: legs and tears like a college volleyball player who just broke up with their significant other. Mouth feel : oily and full. Coats your tongue and holds on Flavor is agave forward. Starts hot smolders to a sweet butter cream. Quick finish .

I have to admit....when I first saw Amor Mio at a tequila store in Playa Del Carmen, I thought the bottle was absolutely gorgeous but I was worried about the quality of the tequila.... shouldn't judge a book by its cover, and all that.... Fortunately, the store had the Amor Mio available to sample.... and from that moment on, I KNEW I had something special. Clearly, Tequila Aficionado agrees.... :) I bought the blanco for the contents..... I DID admittedly buy a bottle of the extra anejo primarily for the beauty of the solid ceramic, hand-painted bottle....it makes a perfect decanter and looks incredible!
