NOM 1548 | Nose: Vanilla, cinnamon and oak. Bitter almond, dried cherries and a cellar like aroma. Flavor: White pepper, sweet vanilla and caramel- some oiliness. A hint of bitterness.

NOM 1079 | Aroma is rich with sweet fruit (pineapple), vanilla and cedar/pine. Flavor is a bit flat with combination of vanilla, spice and pine. Pretty disappointing after the repo. Just not much there. Finish is short. 7/4/2017 (vertical tasting)

The aroma is pleasant with a strong note of cinnamon, and subtle hints of vanilla and caramel. The taste is on par with the aroma by having a strong cinnamon flavor. There is also a slight hint of oak. I tend to expect an Anejo to taste much more oaky or barrel heavy but this is very pleasant. I tend to be a fan of Blancos and Repos but this is one of my favorite Anejos. It's definitely worth picking up a bottle.

I didn't personally care for it. It had a weird sourish flavor that I just wasn't a fan of.

NOM 1079 | This is the last of a bottle my wife had for years. I’d call this a beginner tequila? Huge vanilla/sweet aroma with a peppery slightly sweet end. Because of its age, it could have gotten a little more sweet. Drinking a glass of this actually warms my esophagus and stomach from the alcohol burn.

Reminds me a bit of Baluarte Resposado but thinner in viscosity with more alcohol burn. Aroma has cinnamon, vanilla, sweet cream, hazelnut, ethanol vapors. Taste adds chocolate custard, alcohol burn and tingly gums when swishing it around the palate. Took a chance and over paid. I liked the Blanco, reminded me of a mix of Clase Azul resposado and Don Julio 70 but a bit thinner.

NOM 1079 | smooth and easy to drink but it's like a whisky. if I want to drink whisky, I take whisky. I feel Aha toro try to express uniqueness but it is little bit hokey. but not bad.

NOM 1548 | Much more complete nose than the rest of the lineup, agave, vanilla and cherry with bright agave as the main aroma. Still quite dry on the palette, was hoping a bit more age would result in a more balanced flavour.

NOM 1079 | Purchased NOM 1079 Lot No.09 in Cancun airport in approx 2006. Packaging is nice, juice is average. Not a bad tequila, just nothing special.

Very good. Still a bit wild as the blanco, but smooth too. Caused by strong wood flavours like oak, vanilla, butterscotch. I prefer the blanco. Anyway very good stuff.

agave, black pepper, very smooth finish. One of my favorite 2 years and less anejo tequila!

This Anejo is not overwhelming in character. It has a nice lingering taste that is very pleasant.
