Lote 125, NOM 1079
Not at all what I expected, this tastes like tequila through and through! Nothing earth shattering here but a solid effort, boozing ending caught me off guard.
Nose: Vanilla, cinnamon and oak. Bitter almond, dried cherries and a cellar like aroma. Flavor: White pepper, sweet vanilla and caramel- some oiliness. A hint of bitterness.
Nose: Initially, agave and spice. A touch floral - citrus blossoms? Ripe pineapple and limes. Some earthy, grassy notes. Flavor: Robust pepper, sweet cooked agave. Finishes with some lingering pepper and light vanilla.
Lote #73. 2008 SAT stamp Nose: Slightly tingling aroma of minerals and rosemary. Light bourbon oak, cinnamon, vanilla, butterscotch and a floral note. Flavor: General barrel/baking spices, fresh black pepper, some toasty nuttiness, caramel and a luxurious oily mouth feel. Some back end bitterness, and an undertone of a floral suggestion.
