NOM 1548 | Lote #73. 2008 SAT stamp Nose: Slightly tingling aroma of minerals and rosemary. Light bourbon oak, cinnamon, vanilla, butterscotch and a floral note. Flavor: General barrel/baking spices, fresh black pepper, some toasty nuttiness, caramel and a luxurious oily mouth feel. Some back end bitterness, and an undertone of a floral suggestion.

NOM 1079 | NOM 1079 Relatively discreet aroma with agave upfront followed by sweet vanilla and caramel. Nice, smooth flavor that integrates the sweet vanilla/caramel with the pepper spice from the blanco. The finish is medium length. A really nice repo. 7/4/2017 (vertical tasting)

Viscosity of the blanco carries to this reposado. Quite spicy with oak and agave and a lingering finish.

Tasted after aeration. Nose of alcohol and agave. Slow legs. Thick in the mouth. Can't identify the flavor, nothing bold or shocking, but something different that lights up the sides of the tongue. Lingering numbing finish on top of the tongue and back of lips. Nice aroma off the drained glass. Enjoyable, interesting, unremarkable. L011 - clear bottle, came with a taster of the blanco on the side, same lot. Purchased at Old Town Liquor & Deli

NOM 1548 | A touch of ‘nail polish’ on the nose with cooked agave and some fruit. Surprisingly dry from the barrel, the bitterness hits mid palette and then cuts of the early portion of the finish. The finish is drying on the palette as the barrel astringency takes over:
