From Memory: Spicy citrus and overt Alcohol with agave flavor.
Common budget brand. Maybe for cocktails, but alcohol forward and lacking agave flavor. Tasted at Tanger Whiskey Fest
Agave, pepper, alcohol, herbal, earth, apple. Maybe for mix but not a sipper IMHO
No nose, underwhelming taste, hot finish. It was in the well and I had it added it to a Bloody Maria. Served its purpose as a mixer. Not a sipper. Good value for the price point I reckon.
Nose: Sweet cooked agave entrance with cinnamon, and earthy notes. Hints of ginger snaps. Flavor: Pronounced hit of sweet agave and finely ground black pepper. Spicy cinnamon. Pleasant burn. Bitter finish. Mexican 38% version weighing in at $200 pesos. Heck of a bargain.
One of the better bargain brands with some creamy roast agave in the mouth.
Agave, fruit and pepper on the nose. Light agave and big pepper on flavor and nothing but pepper on finish.
Nothing super memorable here, but not bad either. Good for *whispers* shooting more so than sipping.
Every time I try this tequila it is different, so there are some consistency issues. In the current version I am getting that typical cake batter and vanilla thing going on in the glass after it sits for a bit. Swirl is around and it is more like a typical Los Altos product (floral, pepper, minerals.) But then let it sit and smell it again without swirling and the vanilla is back.
my goto budget tequila, excellent all around spirit
Some agave with lots of alcohol. Might be good as a mixer.
Surprisingly good mixer for someone relatively new to tequila - might become a mainstay as my cheap go-to at $22/bottle
Good budget option for mixing. Good value for 100% blue agave tequila.
This isn’t a sipper. Maybe a shooter? I use this as a cheaper mixer and like it. From the other cheap option like Jose, Milagro, Espolon and 1800.
Aroma: Rich and sweet, chocolaty Flavor: Sweet but mellow, inoffensive. Smooth, heavy alcohol. Finish: Very bitter, this sensation lingers. Vegetal.
Update 6-4-2024 Bottled 02-04-2024 Devoid of agave on both the nose and especially the palate. The short finish is all alcohol and a quickly fading hint of sweetness and an indiscernible citrus acidity. Worse yet, was the lingering note of fake floral and faint bleach aroma in the empty tasting glass. I have to admit I’m allergic to chlorine. (Of note: TMM lists this distillery as having a diffuser on premises) Additive suspect! It gets completely lost in a cocktail too, where lime, Cointreau — and even agave nectar, each totally overwhelm it. I decided to give it away because the remainder of the bottle was undrinkable. I would not recommend it even as it was priced under $16.00. One of those cases where a bargain isn’t actually a bargain.
Good quality, very smooth start to finish with a nice plane undertone of enlightenment of tipsy:)
On the nose, I got agave and ethanol, but there were hunts of molasses and agave syrup in the back. I enjoyed the nose quite a bit. On the palate, it felt light with strong notes of black pepper, agave, and a smoke flavor. There were also notes of mint. This was good, not great. The finish wasn't great. It had a little bit of a chemical feel but wasn't undrinkable either. I am using this for an infusion (with Chili de Arbol) and think it will work well. I also think it would work great as a mixer, especially considering the value. I paid around $30 for 1.5 liters. I wouldn't recommend it as a sipper, although it would work in a pinch. It would work great with shots.
Mexican 38% abv. versión, lote: LLAB1215817, bottled on 10-06-2021, tasted on 4-25-24. Aroma: cooked agave, a hint of brininess at the beginning that dissipates, light acidity, light earthiness, after 20 minutes in the glass a light fruitiness and light citrus aroma emerges. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, alcohol sensation is slightly higher than its 38% abv., good sweet sour and acidic balance. Agave note is sweeter on the palate. Finish is medium, cooked agave with a hint of sweetness, hint of fruitiness, light acidity and a hint of earthiness persists but not too long.
it's a mixer, that's it. it has a solid agave-forward hit at the front of the pallet, but then dissolves to heat and that about it.
light sweet nose, not bad taste but little agave and it is hot with poor finish, wouldn't recommend
Well…I must really enjoy tequila. It was not as bad as I was expecting. Aroma is tequila- agave does not come out- it’s all alcohol with hint of pepper. Palate- actually more what’s in my mouth- alcohol, and hint of agave. Finish- yes- glad I’m finished.
Super smooth, nice finish. Tried this tequila at room temperature with a splash of lime and soda water back. Extremely smooth, little to no “bite” to the shot in the aftermath
Buttery. Agave forward. Rachel said tequilaeee

Thank god for mini's. Stay away from it even at a low price point.
