NOM 1440 | Rated blind.
NOM 1440 | Re rating this one with another bottle. 2004 tax stamp. Nose: Caramel, citrus, vanilla, pineapple and a spritz of minerals. Some mild oak. Flavor: Round barrel spices, a hint of dill, pepper and leather. Nice on the palate. Significant improvement over my first bottle.
serious nose of honey, apricot and caramel. alcoholic at the end, but smooth and a little dangerous. easy finish after quick hits of oak, agave, cinnamon and pepper. nice sipping tequila.
Aroma: Vanilla and citrus. Flavor: Slightly bitter but I think it's from the citrus. The vanilla comes through as well. Finish: there really isn't much finish. Seems to really be at the front of the mouth and then falls off. Value: A good priced repo I would definitely drink again.
Faint scent of caramel/some sweetness.peppery flavor from blanco carries through but evolves to peppermint. Thin, unfulfilling finish.
NOM 1440 | Mexican 40% abv. versión, lote: 04 LOTE/032, bottled on 22/JUN/2006, marbete is from 2004, tasted on 8-30-24. I was pleasantly surprised by the añejo from this same NOM and was searching for their reposado and blanco and I am glad I did find them, even with same marbete from year 2004. Color: light yellow to almost yellow. Aroma: light sweet cooked agave, resinous sweetness, hint of acidity, light citrus, fruity, hint of cucumber, aromatic green vegetal notes, after 20 minutes in the glass the agave note becomes sweeter. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, good sweet sour and citrus balance, cucumber, melon, elegant natural sweetness. It has a light effervescent sensation both on the nose and the palate which makes it fresher and more aromatic. Finish is medium to medium long, light sweet cooked agave, fruity and citrus notes persist. Just like the añejo from this same NOM, didn’t really notice the wood note!
NOM 1440 | NOM 1440 04/Lote/032 22/AGO/2006 Light smoke, honey ,oak , anise and mint. Very good tequila , sad to say Corazón will never be the same as this original NOM.
NOM 1440 04/LOTE/031, 10/18/2005 old school long neck. This is an okay sipper. I'll likely use it for mixed drinks. Price was $33.
NOM 1103 | Very oaky and I was waiting for some burn but it was was just delightfully warm from start to finish. Hints of vanilla in the smoky oak
NOM 1440
NOM 1440 | The old long neck bottle from NOM 1440 was a bargain.
NOM 1103 | Carmel, agave, at the start and a bit of cinnamon left on the tongue with the finish. It’s not a bad sipper in a pinch. If price point is a issue, it’s an acceptable choice. By the way I will just have to finish the bottle ;-)
A little bit of a chemical finish
NOM 1440 | Love the palate to finish, the nose not so promising for what it delivers. Vegetal tobacco notes, floral, minty and tangy.
NOM 1103 | If Casamigos Reposado is Led Zeppelin, this is Motley Crue. It’s clearly pack with fake flavor and color, but it’s done well enough that you don’t really care - but still not with the quite the care of the Clooney goonies. There’s a little too much caramel, vanilla and graham cracker to be entirely believable -but then you asked for something cheap, didn’t you?
Nice amber color. Appears a little darker than most reposados. Nice sweet caramel aroma. Almost tastes like a anejo? Very good tequila at a good price. I will keep on the buy again list.
NOM 1103 | The nose is sort of offensive. But what this tequila has going for it is a nice “feel”. Almost buttery and a decent finish. Not the first bottle I’d buy but in a over much I’d order it out.
NOM 1103 | Not bad. Vanilla and fruit tastes. Better brands like el jimador or milagro in price range.
NOM 1103 | some sweetness, honey or caramel? a bit peppery i think fairly strong bite
NOM 1103 | Not much of an aroma, kind of earthy I guess. Flavor is somewhat sweet, with hints of cinnamon and agave. A peppery taste lingers in the finish.
big honey and cinnamon nose. almost too much that it covers the agave. long finish that leaves you searching for the agave. not sure about this one.
First to drink neat, rating subject to change.
Good starter tequila. Light watery and decent flavor.
Smell of citrus has lots of agave taste and a finish that is strong in alcohol. I prefer a sipping tequila so this is best as a mixer I think. Not bad though

NOM 1440 | NOM1440 is a different animal compared to the current NOM worth trying for sure.
