Generally regarded as a solid value reposado that is widely available, but not a favorite of mine. On the nose: Alcohol is prominent, afterwards an artificial cooked agave, oak, carmel, with a tinge of vanilla. Some pepper, minerality, and orange. On the tongue: Light mouth feel. More of the same, but oak is less prominent. The finish is decent with a nice pepper bite. A diffuser tequila that is not a great sipper, but is not offensive.

The value of this tequila brand is truly hard to beat. I really enjoy it. This Reposado is very good for the price point. Smooth balanced finish with notes of agave, caramel, vanilla, and citrus. Good on it's own, or for shooting, an mixing.

This is a drinkable beverage, not as smooth or pleasant as I like. It's harshness is not completely off-putting. It is smooth, pleasant, and drinkable -just not as much as I prefer. It's price seems more than reasonable for a tequila of this superior quality to others I have tasted that are quite a lot more costly. I am much too new to tequila to offer much in the way of opinion as to taste or aroma particulars.

The flavor does not stand out at all but it’s not a bad flavor. The finish is smooth so it is an okay sipping tequila.

ok here's the deal... after having this recently at a party this going to be my new go to for my mixer. The taste is there, the aroma is mostly there and although the finish is a Lil burnt and bitey (really not much of a sipping tequila on its own) it is fantastic at $16 a bottle which is better than some at 2x the price range

Review #188 - Familia Camarena Tequila Reposado

A pretty good value brand that can be easily found. All good things. Let's see if the tequila is tops for the under $20 category because there's getting to be lots of competition in that area of the tequila shelf...and that's a good thing.
