38% Mexican release with a marbete stamp from 2006. Nose is quite robust with a lot going on. First whiff brought floral notes. Next impression was that of abundant crisp agave, green apple, and a hint of cinnamon and pepper. There are minerals and the aroma of fresh rain in a forest. Flavor: Buttery sensation in the mouth. Tons of caramelizada agave with pepper punch. Rich.

Mexican 35% abv. version, lote: LHI09, bottled on 14-08-2022, tasted on 12-27-23. Aroma: raw agave, herbal, hint of green apples, slightly astringent, earthy, alcohol sensation is medium although abv. is low. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, ends slightly bitter and astringent. Finish is medium to medium long, raw agave with earthy, light astringent and slightly bitter notes persist.
