Has a good, clean aroma, but not agave forward. A bit of cinnamon and a hint of black licorice on the finish. A solid quality tequila.

Agave, spiciness with herbal/grass notes. Slightly aggressive with lots of anise/black pepper/mint. Has a long bold finish

Aroma: Light notes of citrus, pepper and herbs. Flavor: Hard to pinpoint, very clean and smooth on the palate, herbs and agave. Finish: Very clean herbal finish with a bite of pepper spice. Flavor lasts on the tongue. Overall: One of the best blancos I’ve tried for drinking neat.

Candy Apple, herbs, and agave on the nose. Taste is light candy apple and an agave rush. Light but pleasant burn.

have moved my rating up to an 88 since my video review from a few years back. This Blanco is excellent, especially for the $50 price tag at today's (2023) prices

Aroma : Ripe cooked agave, alongside some baking spices, earth, and vegetal notes. Taste : The aromas carry through here with the right amount of sweet and spice. There is also some cinnamon and black pepper here to contrast the agave. Texture is nice and oily. Finish : Long and warm, and prolongs the sweet/spicy profile equal amounts.

I have grown to really love the full lineup from Don Fulano, starting with the blanco. No additives, no funny business, just straightforward good natural tequila. Aroma is agave, black pepper, earth and vegetal. Flavor has a rich sweet mature cooked agave taste. Super enjoyable. This is a tequila that will make both hardcore aficionados and tequila beginners happy.

Mint and peppery with a sweet finish, and a hint of cinnamon- layers of complexity. The more I drink it, the more I like it!

Good tequila, has a confectionary quality without being sweet, reminds of those little powdered sugar rolls I used to get as a kid for Halloween. Nice aftertaste doesn’t stick around too long, I’m a fan.

Surprising to have not rated as yet. A ton of agave but also some creaminess from the resting in stainless for a time before bottling. Natural sweetness that fades to slight bitterness.

Round full nose. Agave, spices, smoke and a grassy herbal note. Light sweetness. A touch of ripe Italian cheese peeking through. Flavors are complex. Cinnamon, aniseed, green olives and pepper. Some mint and vanilla. A hint of an earthy and slightly bitter root vegetable. Rich, bold finish.

soft pepper nose with cooked agave close behind. slightly aggressive, but in a good way. it reminds me that I'm a man despite sipping from this dainty glass. citrus comes on strong up front, passing pepper around the bend. it's a quick race passed your pallet, with pepper, agave and butter close behind. but don't worry. you still won.

LOT: 05DFB21 Blind tasting with Atanasio Blanco and Volans Blanco. View: totally transparent. Good adhesion thanks for the alcoholic content. Freshly served; Aroma: a little chemical, like acetone, drag profiles, citrus, mineral, a little lemony. Flavor: a very pleasant sweetness, cooked agave, floral, lemony citrus, mint, much better flavor than aroma. I let it oxygenate for 15 minutes so it opens. Aroma: The chemical profiles remain the smell, but now it seems to me that it became a little more mineral. Flavor: Citrus, cooked agave, herbal.

Not bad ….I like this better than Mijenta and Aldez because it’s not so grassy/vegetal. It’s the right amount. I taste agave, pepper, citrus and mint. Has a nice smooth finish with lingering heat. Overall a decent blanco. Drink it neat though. When making my Palomas I’d rather use other blancos.
