Aroma : Ripe cooked agave, alongside some baking spices, earth, and vegetal notes. Taste : The aromas carry through here with the right amount of sweet and spice. There is also some cinnamon and black pepper here to contrast the agave. Texture is nice and oily. Finish : Long and warm, and prolongs the sweet/spicy profile equal amounts.

I have grown to really love the full lineup from Don Fulano, starting with the blanco. No additives, no funny business, just straightforward good natural tequila. Aroma is agave, black pepper, earth and vegetal. Flavor has a rich sweet mature cooked agave taste. Super enjoyable. This is a tequila that will make both hardcore aficionados and tequila beginners happy.

Mint and peppery with a sweet finish, and a hint of cinnamon- layers of complexity. The more I drink it, the more I like it!

Good tequila, has a confectionary quality without being sweet, reminds of those little powdered sugar rolls I used to get as a kid for Halloween. Nice aftertaste doesn’t stick around too long, I’m a fan.

Surprising to have not rated as yet. A ton of agave but also some creaminess from the resting in stainless for a time before bottling. Natural sweetness that fades to slight bitterness.

Round full nose. Agave, spices, smoke and a grassy herbal note. A touch of ripe Italian cheese peeking through. Flavors are complex. Cinnamon, aniseed, green olives and pepper. Some mint and hint of an earthy and slightly bitter root vegetable. Long and bold finish.

I found an old bottle of this in Cozumel Mexico. The label was almost worn off but the juice was still great.

soft pepper nose with cooked agave close behind. slightly aggressive, but in a good way. it reminds me that I'm a man despite sipping from this dainty glass. citrus comes on strong up front, passing pepper around the bend. it's a quick race passed your pallet, with pepper, agave and butter close behind. but don't worry. you still won.

Candy Apple, herbs, and agave on the nose. Taste is light candy apple and an agave rush. Light but pleasant burn.

Cooked agave, ripe banana, the first bottle I tried had some nice funk in the bro, nice creaminess in palate, full body, olives, smooth finish with sweet agave lingering. Nice blanco, on my 3rd bottle.

Similar to Pasote. That is good. Can find it local which is also good. Definitely worth having on the shelf.

Mint, Menthol, young raw Agave, Pepper, Grass, Cinnamon, Spice, Earth... I believe that the flavour profile is typical to the usage of agaves that are harvested before their peak, Finish still is very clean & mild, but: after trying it several times on various occasions its flavor profile just doesn’t happen to convince me. It somehow lacks body & character and is to little agave forward for my taste

Lots of agave and spice. pepper, a little bit of grassy flavor. Finishes with a kind of mint flavor. Very clean. I like it!

Good, solid blanco with an earthy warmth, a hint of mint and a nice peppery finish. It lines right up with my expectations for a quality tequila, but is just a notch below some of my favorites.

Cooked agave and black pepper nose. The taste that matches the nose. Slight menthol finish hurts my overall rating.

I have a very early bottling in the green glass bottle & stopper. Another great tequila from NOM1146. This blanco is fresh, clean, minty, but has a short finish. A little to green tasting though for quality blanco, imho .

Another one of my favorite brands. Don’t see it around too often so I try and pick one up when I do. Smooth texture, good finish, drink it straight and enjoy your night

This was very light on cooked agave both in aroma and taste. I read this doesn’t use ovens for cooking so maybe that has to do with the cooked agave not coming out as much as I would like. Not to mean this was a bad tequila, it goes down smoothly and leaves a pleasant aftertaste. I finally got to try DF after seeing it getting much praise from tequila enthusiasts. Found myself an old bottle (Lot 185DFB16A). Not sure if it lives up to the hype but it has a distinct flavor for sure, many reviews describe it as “vegetable” so I’ll go with that for lack of a better word.

The aromas are very fresh, crispy of green vegetables recently harvested chopped for your salad. There is good amount of agave in here, citrus (very nice aroma of acidity similar of what you get in grapefruits). The flavour is very relaxing and sits in the front of your tongue, it’s sharp and crispy, just like its aroma. Very clean with a nice texture and finishes with a small amount of dark chocolate bitterness. I am glad I bought it and try it!

Nice warm tequila. For a blanco, it's still good for a cold night. Vegital, earth, fresh agave and black pepper on the nose. Cooked agave, mint, cinnamon, citrus in the mouth. Vanilla, smoke and anise in the finish. It has a warm finish that last for awhile. Very surprised for an autoclave tequila. I would drink this again.
