Being a whiskey/bourbon fan, I like spirits with a bit of fire/burn to them. This Casa Noble Repo is not that. While the aromas are excuisite of milk chocolate, cooked agave, and brown sugar, the flavor is a bit indistinct, but smooth. Picked this up on sale from one of my liquor distributors in Cabo San Lucas for about $16. At that price, you can't go wrong. At regular price of about $30, I'd make a different selection such as Tierra Noble Reposado, San Matías Extra Añejo Reserva ( Mexican version mixto) or even Espélon Reposado (bourbon barrel aged)

Sweet agave, vanillas toffees and caramels. A sweet treat. French oak provides a scrumptious palette, awesome body.

364days in a T5 French Oak Barrel for a Reposado of this Caliber. Great example of a Lowlands tequila in its Purest form.

Falls in line with the rest of the Casa Noble roster, solid but not bragworthy. If you can get it at a decent price it’s worth a purchase

Aroma and taste are outstanding! The rep Amanda told us how it is aged for 364 days in French oak barrels. This is a rich and good repo.

Wanted to try it up against Casamigos. not nearly the spice notes but a much sharper and longer finish.

A decent tequila. Much flavour (butterscotch and vanilla). Great finish. But a fair bit of mouth burn. So much so that it overpowers the good flavour. Would not be dying to buy again. Re-tested and agree with above. Sort of. Delish flavour. Butter, vanilla, oak and agave abound. Chocolate and heavy cinammon flavour. But much mouth burn and heartburn... I may have been a bit harsh on this..... May be confusing alcohol burn with spice and pepper. There is much good going on with this. Bumped up from 80 to 85. This is very good tequila. With bite.

This is a delicious reposado. You get a nose full of oak, vanilla, caramel, honey, and faint agave. The taste is pleasing and not too sweet, lasting just long enough on the tongue. It’s complex and maybe my new favorite reposado.

It’s complex for sure. Not too spicy, notes of chocolate mix with vanilla and pepper. Finishes fine, disappears fast.

Nice smooth reposado. Mild aroma with vanilla, agave, oak and chocolate standing out. Just a hint of citrus. Sweet flavors with honey, citrus and chocolate coming out more in the finish. Hint of spice. Nice neat, with a rock or in a margarita.

Aromas of vanilla and agave, with a definite chocolate undertone. Strong flavor of vanilla and sweet agave, with a strong chocolate and oak finish. Love it!

Smooth on the palate with a mild chocolate finish. Works well on the rocks or in a classic margarita. Always have a bottle on hand.

Good, but I expected more out of this tequila. Perhaps I was preconditioned since it comes from NOM 1137. Cream soda and strong alcohol on the nose. Finish with a lot of agave, wood and cream.

The smell is an unbelievable strong vanilla, like Watkins extract. I love it. Very nice soft vanilla flavor and slight agave. Extremely smooth. I love this one and will always have a bottle on hand. One of my top three favorites.

I find the oak talking over the agave which I’m not a fan of but this is drinkable juice. Really sweet on the back end, I could see how that would win fans.

There is a sweet anise like smell along with agave and it goes down smooth with a pleasant finish.

Review #91 - Casa Noble Tequila Reposado

A good solid reposado with some nice character. As to be expected from the Casa Noble line, which is a favorite amongst many tequila drinkers and part owned by Carlos Santana.

Casa Noble - the rich, full-flavored 'green' tequila

Taste is the primary factor in selecting which tequila I want to drink, and Casa Noble stands out in the flavor department.
