Nice Anejo. Sweet and just enough pepper. I don’t usually care for Anejos and this one is just okay.

Aromas of sweet agave yet this Anejo was not overly sweet on the palate like some Añejo’s of late. Very smooth flavor, due to the third distillation. Nice pleasant finish. Well balanced and quite enjoyable. Fair price

An older bottle from 2010. Nose of agave and vanilla, and a brief hint of an Italian cheese. Nice spice and oak notes. Viscous with a maple note, white chocolate, and root beer. Pleasant heat, white pepper and rounded French oak flavors. Dried fruit shows it’s colors toward the finish. An after dinner sipper.

A few years ago this was one of my favorite tequilas. However, I find the current product to be a total disappointment.

Big caramel and butterscotch with some agave on the nose, with a flavor to match. The agave is more pronounced on the palate. Big sublingual spice as well as front of tongue and mouth. Excellent finish.

Incredible aroma of milk chocolate and vanilla along with rich vegetal smell. Flavor of rich chocolate is upfront and persistent. Fantastic mouth coating finish that lasts with sweetness and mild heat.

Casa Noble as usual. Just like the repo the anejo has a strong nose and flavor of Chocolate. At this point though you also taste a lot more of the oak and a lot less of the agave than the Repo. It's an amazing tequila but when put head to head with its younger brother I would choose the Repo.

The aroma is classic Casa Noble aging at work. The French oak barrels bring a chocolatey cocoa powder-like aroma. The flavor and finish make this very easy to drink. This is one of those tequilas that just about anyone will enjoy.

The french oak does marvels to this tequila. Really enjoy the dark chocolate notes.

For how dark this añejo was I was expecting much more oak flavor but instead it was very sweet. Caramelized sugar and caramel reigned supreme for the flavor.

This is a great tequila for whisky lovers and tequila enthusiasts alike. The legs on this anjeo are long. Best served in a Glencairn glass, IMO.

sorry, I am not a fan of lowland tequilas. I purchased the Blanco, resopado, and anejo for a camping trip experience with some friends that like tequila. none of my friends liked any of the Casa Nobel line that I purchased. I liked the anejo, but was amazed that the Blanco and resopado were so highly rated as we didn't like them at all. I guess I will stick to highland with my friends. that said, I liked this. same aroma as the others, but the year in oak really softened this for me.

After having this bottle in my collection for a year I finally cracked it open. The nose is amazing. Agave. Vanilla. Maybe a bit cinnamon spice? Stings the nostrils just a skoosh. Palate is okay. A bit smooth on the finish. For $50 Anejo it rates just slightly above fair with me.

Review #99 - Casa Noble Tequila Anejo

Casa Noble anejo is an interesting combination of sweet agave notes, an earthy/herbal flavor with a real, but not unpleasant, alcohol burn. For people who like to really taste the agave and yet also have long, lingering finish, this is the tequila that yo
