tried it at esperanzarte event cabo 11/22/23 beautiful presentation I found it to be very sweet and didn't get the tannins I normally get with tequila rested in wine barrels. i got more vanilla notes. I can see how newbies might enjoy this, but it was too sweet for me

Beautiful bottle! Tequila just isn’t for me. Aged in ex wine barrels I’d expect more tannins and oak but I get lots of vanilla instead. Too sweet for me. Too expensive for me.

Floral aroma. Flavor leans toward cake batter but not as overly sweet as many of the other pretty bottle "luxury" tequilas. I would not drink again, but could see someone who likes that flavor profile enjoying this one

Sweet nose ala Clase Azul but not quite as pleasant, with a bit of alcohol on the nose. Thin mouthfeel. No complexity. A bit bitter. Oily and astringent finish. Wanted to experience for myself. Not for me.

Just very commercial tasting

Nose: smells like strawberry ice cream and fruit loops Palate: same with a lot of vanilla. Reminds me of strawberry nesquick with agave sweetener

Beautiful bottle, beautiful color. Nose heavy dark fruit and leaning heavily toward the wine casks used to age. Taste sweeter than I prefer but very smooth. People who like a variety of spirits may like this as a sipper but for the $ there are many better options for tequila enthusiasts.

Rosa flight at Alma in Scottsdale. Flavor of sweet syrup. Definitely bottom of the three. Codigo clear winner with blanco (agave & slight pepper) taste. Asombroso interestingly floral & honey. Komos Rosa is not for me.

Plum and vanilla notes. Beautiful bottle. Great for just sipping. On the sweeter side.

Unique, it doesn't taste like you expect a tequila to, definitely on the rose wine side but I think that's what makes it good. It doesn't taste like your average tequila but it's not supposed to

Komos Reposado Rosa Summary: Komos is priced higher than many similar reposados, but you are paying more for the pretty bottle. The quality of the juice isn't my cup of tea. Unlike quality wine barrel aged tequila expressions like Montagave, I find Komos to be an overly sweet. Stone mill, copper coil suggests this is a quality made tequila, but I would pass on this one.

Good taste, poor finish.

The smell is of a familiar perfume, but you can’t place it. It’s smells delicious and you just can’t wait to taste. The color is seductive and yet is nostalgic of your earliest memories of wine. Is this Tequila 2.0? Notes of cherry, red wine, rose. Finish is warm, dark chocolate, steady, lingers, however amazingly pleasant.

very floral, it has a strong agave flavor with a hint of citrus. the aroma accompanies the smooth finish. very good to sip.

A sweet aroma with a similar taste. Caramel and butterscotch with just a touch of pepper on the end. Major points off for the price though.

Nice aroma. Smooth. Vanilla, cinnamon, cooked agave. Feel like there’s additives though and drinking a lot isn’t going to make me feel great tomorrow. A little too much cake batter action going on.

I’ve had quite a bit of tequila, and dozens of $100-$200 varieties, but this is my absolute favorite. It is NOT a traditional taste or nose at all, so it’s not surprising that this isn’t for everyone. It’s entirely unique. The defining characteristic is the clay pot aging which really comes through in the earthy aroma and aftertaste. Yet it still manages to capture a fair contribution of pineapple, pear and even strawberry. There is nothing else like it. There is a crisp yet savory quality to it, and with just a touch of sweetness. Only reason it’s not an all-out 100 rating for me is there is a bit of an alcohol and dryness on the finish once it sits there for a minute, which isn’t really for me. Outside of that, top marks across the board. Also closely rivaled by the Komos añejo cristalino which exhibits similar qualities.

Beautiful Provençal Rosè color Fresh agave and cinnamon on the nose. Very aromatic and pleasing to the senses. Mouth feel is silky like rose pedals. Floral fruity and a hint of spice on the palate. Nice salinity giving it a good savory element. Want to try it with food. Maybe some oysters or a seafood paella would be good. Fish tacos anyone? An unique tasting experience. Unlike other Rosa tequilas I’ve tried. Very enjoyable. Looking forward to having it with food. Worth the spend if your looking to splurge on a luxury tequila

This is a very boosy wine tasting drink. Definitely does not taste like tequila.
