A pretty good effort for a Cristalino, I am not a fan of the category but this is very drinkable and I even went back for seconds! Almond, lactic, dark chocolate are all present…I consistently find these flavours in high quality Cristalino. If you have friends who are on the fence about drinking Tequila, this is a perfect conversation starter. Nice bottle with an approachable flavour profile.

I don’t really like this or dislike it….there just isn’t enough flavour to latch onto for me. Agave is present for sure, it’s just not leading the charge, the use of wine barrels is bringing a lot of gentle secondary flavours that will surely be popular with consumers. If there were points for branding and packaging, this would receive top scores I’m sure.

nose: sweet vanilla, not horribly offensive but seems like additives are involved. palate: coconut and vanilla, tastes like lots of additives! finish: very sweet and a little bitter I'm not a fan of this profile

NOM 1110. Meh...pour was free but not sure why these products exist. Not much nose, others in the group think it smells like vanilla or Mrs. Buttersworth syrup. Unremarkable on the palate with zero agave. A bit of ethanol on the finish.
