Agave, mint, black pepper with a burn on the back end. It was the best of options at bar with a poor selection, but not a strong sipping tequila profile. I might mix it, but not serve at home straight to friends.

The aroma presents as remarkably soft, dominated by notes of cooked agave, vanilla, and a refreshing quality, lacking in complexity. Moving to the taste, the palate is met with flavors of vanilla and cooked agave, imparting a gentle softness. A brief flash of pepperiness emerges, fading cleanly but leaving behind a lingering heat sensation in the chest. Additionally, a noticeable sweetness akin to saccharin is discernible. As the tasting experience concludes, the finish maintains a refreshing quality, with a moderate presence of saccharin that gradually fades away but lingers on the palate longer than wanted.

Harsh if you're not Blanco familiar. Great flavor. Fruit and vanilla hints. Harsh back end.

Choices at the bar were Teremana, Espelon or this celebrity Santana tequila. Mixed with soda water as a strong rubbing alcohol nose some citrus, pepper. Cloying not pleasing. Thin not the fat bottle.

I am not a fan of lowland tequila. not even sure if this is truly a lowland tequila. the aroma was an immediate turnoff. actually all their tequila had the same basic aroma, but I liked the anejo. the taste was harsh, but genuine to me. just not my type of tequila.

Picked it up on sale for $39- normally around $45-50 in my area. Nose: agave, minerals, sweetness, earthy. Palate: cooked agave, sweet, licorice, herbal, pepper, hint of smoke, minerals Finish: Medium to long, however….. left a filmy feel on my tongue- not my favorite for sipping… used it with a ranch water and was pretty good that way.

Agave forward and some pepper. Much better than the vanilla flavoring over powering some brands. Overall great value considering the slims offering in my area. I really felt this was additive free which is why I was checking tequila match maker lol. Fairly smooth going down. Overall pleasantly surprised. Looking to try their reposado next.

A lot of alcohol on the nose. Some agave, but it’s sort of buried underneath that alcohol (and a bit of pepper). The palate is a strange one. Tastes like some chemical at first, but gives way to a vegetal/agave flavor that I quite enjoy. A little burn on the finish, but nothing overly powerful. Not great, but a decent sipper. Once you get past the initial scent, it’s pretty good.

Tasted blind: The aroma was okay, I didn’t love the flavor, and the finish was not very pleasant. Maybe I had a bad bottle, but I was expecting much more from it and was very disappointed.

Transparent square bottle, L-07071710 printed on the backside of the rear label, marbete is from 2008, it has a tag stating: certified organic by CCOF. Aroma: sweet cooked agave! Light green notes, light resinous sweetness, light citrus, acidity, good sweet sour and acidic balance, alcohol sensation is medium low, anise. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, balance of sweet sour & acidity on palate too, and is quite intense. Slightly minty. Finish is medium to long, sweet cooked agave with good sweet sour and acidic balance persists.

I really wanted to like this more. I get the agave that comes out clean to me and fresh with citrus and pepper and just slight vegetal. But man why did they have to add that vanilla flavoring and just about ruining it. There may be some other additives that I get at the end. So odd

Strong black pepper while having a sweeter start. Vegetal, but on the astringent side.

Odd flavors for a blanco. Not much pepper or heat. Cooked agave, vegetal and flowers on the nose. Cooked agave, pepper, cinnamon and carmel on the taste. Vanilla, carmel and butterscotch on the finish.

Additive Free. Some pepper notes. Nice agave note to begin

Strange going down, slight chemical taste. Not a ton of burn, the finish is a little peaty. Overall not a bad blanco, fine with soda water or to mix and drinkable straight but not my favorite. Worth a try, depends on your palate.

Starts out decent with agave and somewhat vegetal, but a STRONG plastic taste on the finish.

Very smooth. Lots of vanilla but still tastes like tequila. Better than I thought it would be.

Nothing but ethanol, additives and a lingering syrup mouth feel.

Sea salt with subtle sweetness. Unrelated to tasting notes, the store told me that Santana is involved with this brand and shares the profits with the town in which this is made. Apparently, a heavily kept secret as they don’t want to publicize this for likes.
