Medium amber color in the glass. Aroma of caramel, cooked agave, oak and a hint of butter. Flavor starts off with that butter feel, almost too much. I'm sensing an additive in the mouthfeel. Then the caramel, cooked agave, black pepper and oak. Medium-long finish.

Palate: Carmel and Vanilla Flavoring, Candle Wax, Sweet and Low Finish: Carmel and Vanilla Syrup I got these samples through promotion I did on my group "Agave Swappers" where I swap sample of additive free, quality tequila (Rated 85+ on TMM) for mass produced tequilas. The idea was to have an in to do those reviews of tequilas that I would never seek out a bottle of and to offer folks an opportunity to try new additive-free traditionally made tequila that will change they way they see tequila. This was one of the samples I recieved. On the nose, the vibe I got was an artificial version of something I'd otherwise enjoy. It smelled like a chapstick flavor of a tequila that I would drink. On the palate, it makes another attempt at bringing something familiar to the table but it feels and tastes all chemical. There's a sweetness and added flavors that are clearly made to make this more palatable but it's intertwined with a bitter chemical bomb. The finish tastes like sin. It reminds me of that Vanilla or Carmel syrup that some people get at coffee shops. I genuinely find it difficult to sip in any amount Before I tried this, I told myself "It's probably not going to be as bad as you think it is going to be.." Spoiler Alert: It was.
Candy sweet. Nose of vanilla and caramel. The taste is full on sweet. Artificially sweet. I can see this will appeal to the masses that don’t know what agave tastes like. Not for me.
