Great value & price, liter bottle, great for making cocktails. Will not disappoint
This was surprising. Citrus, minerality, pepper heat. This would make an excellent well tequila or cocktail mixer.
Last of a bottle at Tommy's courtesy of Señor Bermejo. Gracias.
Mexican 35% abv. version, no lot code, marbete is from 2003, tasted on 5-4-24. Color: light yellow. Aroma: light cooked agave, light acidity, light hay, light agave fiber, hint of fruitiness, hint of dirt that doesn’t bother. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, good sweet sour and acidic balance, a light fermenting agave juice aroma through my retronasal. Finish is medium to medium long, hint of cooked agave, aroma of fermenting agave juice, light hay with a hint of fruitiness persists.
Azteca Azul Silver Blanco and Azteca Azul Gold Joven are both distilled at the Camarena Distillery in Jalisco, Mexico, and made from blue agave grown on the distillery’s estates in the Arandas Highlands and baked in traditional clay ovens.
a solid value blanco, perfect for mixing and can be sipped in a pinch. I personally think I can sip this a little easier than Olmeca Altos or Legado.
