Nose: Vanilla, roasted agave, and caramel lead the way, followed by toasted coconut, apricot, cinnamon, and a hit of black pepper. Nothing artificial - just clean, honest barrel notes with a bit of spice. Palate & Mouthfeel: Medium body with a smooth feel. I get cooked agave, caramel and a nuttiness that leans a bit more savory than the coconut on the nose. Backed by orange and a subtle minerality. Jalapeño and black pepper help keep it from going soft. Finish: Medium long. Caramel hangs on, a creamy maraschino note shows up, and it fades out with cinnamon and black pepper. Final Thoughts: Some good flavors here, but nothing earth shattering. For around $45 this is a workhorse repo.

A nice nose, light sweet cooked agave, cinnamon, fruity. Finishes nicely. Nicely priced at $48

Nose is very nice with a lot of citrus and minerality. Taste is relatively light but balanced. Soft mouth feel. A bit of acetone at the end is tricky. Finish is medium long and alternates subtly sweet and bitter. Gains a couple extra points for value. Overall, better than the average repo, for sure.

Ageave, anise, licorice on the nose with hints of maple syrup and gingerbread on the nose. Taste of agave, caramel, cinnamon and citrus

Pedro furtivo repo dec 2024 I love the nose! fruity, subtle barrel notes, very little oak, which is good for me. I like it! Very easy sipper. My guess is it's not aged very long, or they used exhausted barrels

Vessel: Glencairn Nose: Vanilla, Almond, Carmel, Cinnamon, Agave Mouthfeel: Medium Bodied Palate: Carmel, Butter, Jalapeno Finish: Carmel, Butter Almond, Maraschino, Cream, Cinnamon I'm very impressed with this brand. What a sleeper Pedro Furtivo is. On the nose and palate, it is not overly complex, but it seems to get more complex through to the finish. Still, this tequila remains true to the nose.. but with every step, there seems to be a bonus surpise note or two added to the equation. I'm a fan!

Very nice nose. Light in color. Barrel notes of vanilla, cinnamon and caramel. On the palate I do get sweet agave and I also get barrel notes of vanilla, caramel and cinnamon. It is a nice repo that is very representative of what one might expect from this expression. For $42, it is an excellent value.

Tasted this at Arte Agave Atlanta 9-27-24. The nose on this is great!!! Sweet cooked agave, vanilla, caramel, baking spices. There’s a tremendous amount of sweetness and delicious barrel flavors coming from this Repo. Very smooth and refined finish with a nice medium viscosity mouthfeel that really holds the flavors for a nice long finish. Very good. Looking forward to drinking this again!!!

Really nice nose. Some sweet notes. Some nice earthy and woody notes. Bright agave. Really nice palette. Feel like this is a slight upgrade over the blanco. I feel like this is almost made for the repo profile. Baking spices. Nice lingering finish with some cinnamon, vanilla, good leather and mushroom. Some good umami.

As a reminder, the brand was founded by Omar Martinez, Peter and Rachel Kiley. They are based in the Atlanta Area and launched in that market with expectations to grow, organically and purposefully. Aroma: The Sweet Cooked Agave from the Blanco is very present in the Reposado. This is very Citrus Forward with more Orange than any other fruit. There is a nice Vanilla and Cinnamon balance that I can detect before the Oak and Caramel, which are present, but not the strongest aromas to detect. The Minerality certainly shines here too. And there is a nice Fruitiness of Peaches and Apricots. Taste: Out of the gate, the Sweet Cooked Agave and Orange Citrus flavors are apparent. Then a light Oak mixes with the Vanilla and Cinnamon before the Caramel sweetness is found. The light Peach and Apricot notes from the Aroma are also present in the taste. And you can really get the sense of the Minerality on the tongue. Finish: From start to finish, this is an easy sipper with the Agave and Citrus with the light Oak, Vanilla, and Cinnamon taking you on this journey that really makes this brand worth searching out! TMM 86 Salud!!!

Nose and Taste is sweet cooked agave, caramel, vanilla and a little fruit. Used a Chisholm Trail standard Jarrito for tasting. This is a light, well made Reposado at a great price. Also, an easy sipper.

Great Repo and at this price wow Cool agave nose and taste herbal mineral and a nice sweetness with a little vanilla. The finish is long with citrus and a little dryness and then cinnamon!

Shout out to Matt Cavanaugh @ agave swappers on FB for these samples. A lot carries over from the blanco on this one. Sweet cooked and raw vegetal agave on the nose. A subtle oak and black pepper balance the sweetness here. The palate is vegetal raw agave right up front leading into some oaky sweetness but slightly astringent. This actually works in its favor as it continues on to finish up with a light sweet vanilla and caramel butterieness. It's a nice journey on the palate.

Additive Free Reposado aged for 6 months is a blend of Heaven Hill 8yr Bourbon Barrels and Red Wine Bordeaux Barrels. This brand just came out of nowhere and is pretty amazing. $43 for the repo, found in Atlanta. Looks to be brand new brand
