Nose: Not a real robust nose, but many subtle nuances reside here. Light colored fruits, some barrel spice and vanilla, eucalyptus, lite butterscotch and a dusty/earthy note. A slight peachy floral suggestion. Flavors: Flavors are bolder than the nose, but disappoint. Raw woodiness, black pepper, hard to define hot spices, and a thin mouthfeel with simple sweetness. No nuances or real balance. Finish brings nothing new to the party, except a slightly better sweetness to pepper feel.

This is a slightly different bottle than pictured. It is a Blanco Suave, with maybe the slightest tinge of color? Lote 12 from 2009. Nose: A quick waft of harsh alcohol quickly dissipates, giving way to a light colored fruit aroma, agave, mint, light minerals and anise. Flavor: White pepper heat, a nondescript sweetness, hints of toasted nuts and some bitterness.
