Nicely done Reposado, really enjoyed this one while on a distillery tour. Classic Reposado that highlights the agave. Not too fancy… just an enjoyable quality tequila that’s easy to keep sipping.
Nose: Bold. Ripe fruit notes and warm baking spices. Rich agave aromas. A melon aroma. Flavors: Creamy agave sweetness, almost honey like. Perfect pepper counterpoint to the buttery sweet notes. A coffee note. A bit rustic. At 42% ABV, and chocked full of flavor, this is a blanco to put on your radar. It is priced economically and is made traditionally by a good distillery. A good sipper for seasoned aficionados and would shine in mixed drinks.
Has an interesting aroma, cooked agave, jalapeño, vegetal, a hint of lactic, and black pepper. Flavor is sweet cooked agave, slightly earthy, and there’s a pleasant sweetness on the finish.
Faint aroma of melon, but lots of cooked agave on the flavor and finish. Clean and easy to drink, even at 55% abv.
The initial bouquet has a bold symphony with distinct notes of acetone, esters, and a delightful interplay of melon, green fruits, white pepper, and sweet herbal nuances. The high ABV shows its presence with a punch of alcohol, adding depth to the olfactory experience. Taste: A departure from the aroma, the taste is a full of cooked agave, a bomb of flavors that make it easy to sip even at this elevated ABV. The texture is creamy and velvety, with subtle hints of caramelization. Anise introduces itself, alongside minerality notes that come and go. The profile is rounded out with a touch of grassy and earthy undertones, creating a harmonious tasting experience. Glass: Riedel Tequila Let sit for at least 3-5mins and it will evolve in aroma This Tequila Blanco, at 55% ABV, proves to be not just a powerhouse of strength but a refined and enjoyable spirit with a complex yet well-balanced character.
