NOM 1111. Aroma: agave, citrus, mint, lemon, pepper. Flavor: agave, alcohol, pepper, lemon, citrus, mint and grass. Finish is short with a very little heat. There is some sweetness.
Neutral nose, agave hit with medium legs and then an underwhelming aftertaste. It’s ok.
Lighter coloring. Floral, fruity, spicy agave with toffee/vanilla nose. Cinnamon and clove infused agave notes. Nutty and a little pepper bite. Some apple notes.. a nice herbal presence in the background. Not a long finish, but pleasant. A touch of mint and pepper. Leaves a buttery feel in my mouth. Mexican 38% version.
Mexican bottling 38% ABV Spicy agave nose. Little oak presence. Pepper, jalapeño and honey like mouth feel. Semi oily. Pepper heat and sweetness linger nicely, with a hint of almonds.
Have had several bottles of this over the time since this released but never tasted and rated. A bit of alcohol on the nose along with spice elements from the barrel become exactly the same thing in the mouth with a nice medium length finish that fades to slight bitterness. This is a very nice stone ground agave product that is no longer available in the US.
