Aroma: grass, raw agave,. Palate: citrus, raw agave, white pepper. Finish is short with some pepper and raw agave.
NOM 1438. Another brand from the maquila production king. About 70 current brands are made here. This French Oak aged reposado is easy to drink and presents agave, pepper, oak spice of clove and cinnamon.
Green agave and cinnamon flavor. Average.
A little green agave flavor, mild aroma.
Not much of an aroma here. Flavor is a touch too sweet for me. Finish is extremely short.
From the neck tag " A pure clear liquid where the full flavor of the highest quality ripe agave is masterfully balanced with hints of citrus, green apples, and spices". I have had this bottle for a number of years and just got around to opening it. Well sealed with a synthetic cork the aroma is very aggressive with alcohol, agave and citrus all present. No green apple for me in the mouth but the juice is pleasant with agave, pepper, and alcohol all around in varying degrees. Finish is the weakest part for me being rather short and tingly. Solid bottle for being 7 or 8 years removed from purchase. Tasted with Calle 23 blanco also from NOM 1529. Quite similar though the Calle has a bit more viscosity in the mouth.
