On the nose: An awesome dance between sweet cooked agave, earthiness, mint, cinnamon and minerality! On the pallet: The sweet agave is the star. Followed by cinnamon and pepper, vanilla, a little grapefruit lingers This is my kind of blanco. Made with traditional methods, naturally sweet, complex, and really well balanced. I don’t love the bottle and branding. Wouldn’t feature it on my shelf, but the juice. Delicious!! Thanks Matt at Agave Swappers for the sample!!
I am reviewing a sample I received from Agave Swappers: Nose: Cooked and raw agave lead the way, with wet cement, raw veg, mint, and a touch of pepper. It’s earthy and green - could use something more to lend some lift and brightness. Palate & Mouthfeel: Sweeter on the palate than the nose suggests. I get sweet agave, mint, vegetal notes, earth, and a mineral edge. Cinnamon weaves through, and there’s a subtle chili pepper tingle that creeps in late. Mouthfeel is light to medium, it’s clean but not especially gripping. Finish: Sweet agave and cinnamon linger gently, with a slow build of chili pepper showing up on the tail end. It’s a lighter finish but nicely structured. Final Thoughts: I really enjoy this one - more than the nose let on in the beginning. It leans a bit sweet, and I do wish the alcohol made itself known a little more - something higher proof could’ve helped tighten it up. Still, it’s well done for the price, though I’d like it more if it were about $10 less.

Dama Fortuna Sample from Matt C, Agave Swappers ABV 40? Nose: at first, i got hay with some sweetness and a lot of alcohol. Invite some aeration and time and it opens up. I got some berries and cinnamon. Palate: better than the nose suggests; easy sipper, not complex Finish: short and flat Overall: let it open. it's an easy sipper; not complex, so it may be good for newbies who are looking for something "smooth"
Dama Fortuna Blanco opens on nose with cooked agave, light citrus, and black pepper. On the palate, it’s thin, with notes of sweet agave and earth. The finish is sweet with a slight astringency on the end. Not my favorite but definitely not a terrible sipper and at $45–50, its a solid value. Sample received via Agave Swappers Facebook group.

I really appreciate the owner, Moji Shand, sharing this bottle with Agave Swappers. I really wanted to like this one a bit more. the earthiness is not really the profile for me. I didn't seem to get a lot of flavor from this one because the earthy note a little was overpowering for me. I don't typically go for this type of profile, but I know that many others really do. If you like earthy tequilas, you might enjoy this more than I.
