Aplomo ANEJO Nose: tropical fruit with some caramel and vanilla; subtle, mild alcohol. The yeast and sulfa that I got with the blanco is not there. Palate: easy, subtle barrel notes and fruit/tropical notes, mild oak Finish: warm, dry This is my favorite of the three expressions

Aplomo REPO Nose: more approachable than the blanco; barrel spice, not a lot of agave, some vanilla caramel, oak, alcohol and pepper. The first time i tried this (neck pour), i got a hint of yeast and sulfa in the back, which was more apparent the longer it sat. But, i'm revisiting and the sulfa is gone. Nose is pretty good. Palate: not as good as the nose. But not offputting. Subtle, barrel spice, vanilla, oak, not much agave, with a mild bitterness Finish: dry, quick, there's a bitterness on the end

Aplomo BLANCO Nose: sulfa, hay, yeast, as it opened i got some floral notes, a mild agave, mint chocolate! and pepper, but the sulfa scent is still there at the end Palate: better than the nose. Sweetness and pepper. Quickly fades into a peppery finish. Its decent, not complex, not offensive Finish: pepper and a mild bitterness

Tried this thanks to a sample from the Agave Swappers Facebook group. On the nose I get oak, caramel, and a light alcohol. The pallet follows the nose but the caramel takes center stage followed by a light oak. This is a sweet after dinner Anejo in my opinion that may not be for everyone but I enjoyed it and would recommend it for those newer to tequila or someone looking for a sweeter tequila option.

Pure and fresh, straight to the point. No aging, so you get that bold agave flavor upfront, with hints of citrus and maybe a touch of pepper. It’s crisp, smooth, and has a clean finish – nothing extra, just straight quality. Perfect for shots or mixing up a mean margarita. Goes down easy, no fuss, no burn.

Straight-up fire. Aged just right, so it’s got that rich, smooth vibe with hints of caramel and a lil’ smoky oak. First sip, and you’re getting all that depth – like it’s been waiting to impress. Goes down smooth, no burn, just a warm finish that sticks with you. Perfect for sippin’ slow and catching all those flavors – real classy, no lime or salt needed.

Aight, here’s the vibe: this tequila hits smooth but got that lil’ kick to remind you it’s the real deal. First sip? Clean, a bit of citrus on the front, maybe even a lil’ vanilla if you’re paying attention. It don’t burn goin’ down, which is key – just mad smooth with that warm finish. Perfect for shots or a chill sippin’ night, no chaser needed.
