Aroma: Deep, rich oak smell, coupled with caramel and vanilla. Taste: Slightly sweet, bourbonesque flavor, caramel and oak, with some cinnamon spice. Nice, silky mouthfeel. Finish: A rush of oak, black pepper, spice, and then the agave makes itself known. Overall: A delicious extra añejo from Casa Orendaín, well priced considering it’s aged 10 years. Another great tequila for bourbon drinkers and those who appreciate variety in their aged tequilas.
Lots and lots of bourbon on the nose and flavor. Smooth, mild burn, sweet caramelly, bourbony finish
aroma: heavy oak as to be expected. caramel and spices coming through nicely, smells very rich. taste: spicier than I was expecting. Cinnamon and more of those spices in particular some nutmeg and cinnamon. light vanilla but it's not too sweet. finish lingers but doesn't last as long as I had hoped.
