Nice 1414 nose. Cooked agave and earthy. A bit of vanilla and caramel. Very nice on the palate. Cooked gave, barrel spices, apple, citrus, great finish.

Siempre anejo NOM 1414 on the nose i got hints of cognac, barrel spices, caramel, vanilla and subtle oak. went back in and got some chocolate. on the palate i also got the barrel spices, caramel and vanilla, with some whiskey. finish is spicy, starts somewhat dry and fades to sweet agave overall this is a well-balanced, easy sipper. another good one from Siempre, Sergio Cruz and the crew at Vivanco
Siempre rebel cask lou agave sib anejo This one grew on me the more I sipped it. It keeps evolving and has so many layers of complexity! If u like mezcal, i think you're really gonna enjoy this. As an agave geek, I really liked this one for the complexity, tho I'm not so much a mezcal fan. Nose: at first i got tropical notes, banana?!? some hay!? and cooked agave. As it opened, I got some floral notes - gardenia?! butter, even blue cheese! cinnamon... when i went back, no more banana. Was i crazy!?!? Palate: first off i got malolactic - blue cheese and campfire smokey, similar to what I get with Vivo. It Finishes with agave and a little black pepper spice.
Siempre Añejo 1414 This is the First Añejo that Siempre Tequila has produced with Master Distiller Sergio Cruz at the Vivanco’s distillery in Arandas, Jalisco; the famous NOM1414. It’s been aged for over 12 months in a careful blend of oaks casks. Let’s nose and taste this inaugural Añejo! Immediately I get some nice fragrant notes of old damp oak barrels. There’s a sweetness that’s akin to ripe plumbs. It’s dark. Some barrel spice punches though along with some caramelized sugar. Let’s taste it! There’s a denseness of flavors that hit up front. There a nice mix of caramelized agave, barrel spices from the bottom of the barrel and some sweet chipotle peppers. It’s not too intense on the palate but the flavors are pleasantly deep without being heavy. Overall this is great Añejo at a great price. It’s quality through and through. This can be a daily drinker or a go to for complex cocktails.
Vessel: Glencairn Nose: Cinnamon, Oak, Gardenia, Lactic, Brine, Orange, Vanilla Palate: Jalapeño, Blue cheese, Berry, Oak Finish: Honey, Cinnamon, Lactic, Cream Soda For me, this one is absolutely excellent. The Siempre Vivo blanco is one of my favorites, and this puts a spin on it that doesn't diminish from what makes the blanco so special. I get more cinnamon, more oak, and more honey ranking the two next to each other just wouldn't feel right. To me, they are different but equal.I feel so lucky to have been able to try this special one off pick from Lou Agave. Highly recommend if you get a chance.
