Amazing nose with awesome notes of caramel with some black pepper perfectly balanced with oak. On the pallet however is where it lost me a bit. Still a very tasty tequila, it was a bit over oaked for my liking. The agave notes are there but dominated by oak. If you like whiskey, you will love this one.
Oak, chocolate, earth, flowers, fruit... very nice, but a bit expensive. Amazing crystal bottle with this one!
Gotta admit, this might have more value as nostalgia than it does as a stand-alone but it’s a really nice tequila. I don’t get a lot of agave, it’s pretty uh been blended or aged out by this point. With that being said, it’s a lovely marriage of agave and oak, not too sweet, picks up this typical whisky notes and mellows them to make something unique. I recommend squirrelling a bottle away if you can.
This is not another pretty bottle (actually the bottle is beautiful) but the real gem is this aged expression of 3,4,&5 yr blend. Outstanding nose, sweet cooked agave and barrel notes. Great finish. It is pricey though
