Total Wine Spirits Direct brand. Probably the best of the line, but I would not drink due to the unnatural sweetness. Aroma and flavor both are heavy on caramel, vanilla, oak, root beer toffee. The finish reveals the cloying sweetness. As with others in the brands lineup, I give zero points for Drink Again and zero for Recommend (unless you like Adictivo or similar profile). Can't see the value at $99

Nose: oak, some cinnamon, sweetness, light citrus, I find no agave Flavor: light mouth feel, there is a sweetness that just takes over, and just a touch of spice Finish: is very short and that sweetness is all there is

NOM 1459 | Liquor store sampling…. Overly sweet in an off-putting way. Lots of vanilla, caramel and pancake syrup on the nose and palate. Syrupy-thick feel mouthfeel and a bit of artificial sweetener in the finish (saccharin-like). I can enjoy Adictivo - but this goes well beyond in an extreme way. Not something I would reach for.

A beautiful sipping tequila with vanilla and caramel nose and a smooth mildly sweet palate that rolls through flavors waves from caramel to nuts, to vanilla.

Strong caramel taste up front - almost suspiciously strong. Fairly smooth finish, but very sweet and lingering with a taste reminding me of aspartame. The price makes it very hard to recommend

Nice oak improvement over the añejo. Better finish as well. I was really hoping for a more powerful flavor punch.

This is their extra anejo. This is one of the sweeter tequilas on the market. Very similar to Adictivo, but not quite as sweet. It has a nice sweet note, with caramel and toffee flavors which finishes very smoothly. It has become a new staple in my bar to satisfy my sweet tooth.
