TMM Blind Tasting • Visual: Pale gold w/ light gold thin edge. Thin viscosity • Initial Nasal Impact: Slight prickle • Aroma: Cooked agave, pink grapefruit w/ lots of honey, cinnamon, lightly toasted white bread • Mouthfeel: Buttery w/ sufficient alcohol • Flavor: Cooked agave, wildflower honey, white pepper, hint of oak • Finish: Medium and drying finish highlighted by honey, white pepper, hint of oak
odd aroma, flavor, light finish.
This is darker in color than several. The nose is pleasant enough but this has a not pleasing bitterness throughout that leads to a tingling finish. Least favorite of the 10 presented samples
Rated Blind
Tasted blind (Jan 25): Tart, musty, and tannic with some spices and a short finish. Will need to revisit this one, but the other expressions from Inspiro are more my taste.
Master distiller is Anna Maria Romero Mena, one of the first ever female maestra tequilera.
aromas of dry fruts, Apple, wood, intense vanilla and honey. Alcoholic impact at the entrance, sweet, fruity flavors or wood, honey and a Long bitter finish
Nice aromas of dried fruits, chocolate, red wine aged oak, light baked agave. Red wine, oak, butterscotch, berties, dried fruit On the palate. Very nice!
Aroma and finish were a little light.
