Lote 04 | tmm blind tasting lote 4 ranked highest for me.
I have tasted through lots 1.2,& 3 very similar flavor profile. Agave forward, light wood notes, sweetness, vanilla, caramel and baking spice.
Nice nose if agave, earth, citrus and pipe tobacco. The taste is sweet agave and black pepper. I get some fruit and baking spices. Nice finish with a touch of alcohol on the finish. I prefer the blanco but this is good.
Lote 03 | This is an absolutely amazing reposado. Great complexity here from the barrel and the cement fermentation. Nose: cooked agave, vanilla, citrus, cinnamon, minerals, oak, caramel, butterscotch, baking spices, some earth too. Palate: cooked agave, vanilla, minerals, caramel, citrus, cinnamon, black pepper, oak, and baking spices. This repo does not disappoint at all. Great complexity here in this amazing reposado.
Nose: agave/ butter / earth / vanilla/ citrus / tea / herbal / tobacco / Taste: agave sweet / vanilla/ pepper/ oak / banana/ slight fruitiness/ black tea / spearmint / baking spices / honey / chocolate / maple / Finish: nice clean finish / watery non-oily mouthfeel/ cream soda ending with a hint of peppermint makes this very nice This reposado has very low fragrance but really makes up for it with a very harmonious sweet and pepper taste. The taste really shines. The finish is quite as well, only the nose doesn’t get a treat.
Lote 03 | Some celery notes on the aroma; with agave, vegetal, and pepper on the tongue. Always love how these WC batches vary!
Lote 04 | Nose- Cooked agave hits you straight in the nostrils. Also a very pleasant pepperiness in the aroma. Palate- A nice fruitiness here- flavors of cherry, apple, and a touch of melon. Agave presence holds strong with flavors of eucalyptus and cooked agave. Wraps it all up with an extremely pleasant pepperiness as with the nose. Finish- Nice, longer finish. Flavors of orange blossom and butterscotch. Notes- Perfect touch of oak here. Really showcases the agave harvest and fermentation on the front end, then showcases its barreling more so on the finish.
Lote 04 | Eye-clear with a slight tint of yellow Nose-agave, loads of minerality, pepper spice, butter Taste-On the pallet the agave shines all the way throughout this reposado. With compliments of minerals, fruit, butter, pepper, and light butterscotch.
Lote 04 | Nice clean agave on nose. Pepper and slight bitterness on palate that follows through on the finish. Tasted with AF 2024 Blind Repo.
Lote 04 | Tasted blind: Strong dill and jalapeño aroma. Flavors are more balanced with a little sweet, mineral, and pepper. Creamy mouth. Tasty.
Lote 04 | Smells sweeter than the blanco. Also very clean. The agave sweetness is the strongest in this of the entire lineup. Hints of vanilla and lavender
Lote 04 | Smells earthy like rain water and minerals with hints of citrus. Sweet agave on the palate, with some pepper and oregano. Short but clean finish
Blind Taste Lot 4 Aroma is: oak, olive, caramel, light ethyl, honey, slight cinnamon, Taste is: oak, black pepper, citrus, agave, Vegetal, brine. I get a nice note of cacao when I coat my mouth. A nice length of finish with light smoke on the exit with brine ever present along with agave and grassiness. Caramel lingers as well. Not a smooth sipper to me, but blind, I suspect this is a higher proof which may contribute to the abrasiveness in throat and sometimes upon inhale.
Lote 04 | Lote 4 - This puppy likes a bit of time to open up. At 43% ABV it packs a ton of aroma and flavor. Thick, oily, and full of baking spices. Cinnamon and crème brûlée. Love it
Lote 02 | On the nose, a soft agave hit. The barest hint of barrel, saline and cinnamon. Some vanilla. On the palate, a much more rounded agave than the blancos. Minerals, very light barrel. Maybe some pepper, and a little bit of cinnamon. Overall, this is exquisite. Truly one of my favorite brands right now.
march 7, 2023 tasted with holly the_tequila_lilly and marissa tequilaencyclopedia march 7, 2023 tasted with holly the_tequila_lilly and marissa tequilaencyclopedia REPOSADO lote 2 This tequila is amazing! One of the best repos I've ever had! Bourbon agave cinnamon citrus minerality. Sooo good! I'll be ordering more of this for sure tasted in panel blind repo tasting 03/2024 and I rated it the highest in the tasting!
Lote 02 | Scored one point higher than Lote 1. Sweet agave, minerality, cinnamon, black pepper. I love this brand, doesn't hurt when you're coming out of NOM1123
Lote 02 | Good juice, a little too mellow after trying the Blanco expressions but a quality product. Cinnamon & orange along with roasted agave, interesting dessert experience.
Lote 02 | Agave, green apple, honey, minerals, cinnamon. I enjoy this one considerably more than Lot 1. Very nice Repo.
Lote 02 | This is well made love it, sweet agave, smell earthy pepper oily solid. Just a bit high on the price for me.
Lote 02 | Earthy cooked agave upfront and citrus notes, with sweet honey-like flavor and mineral notes and cinnamon on the finish. The minerality is a key balance to the sweet agave flavors.
Lote 02 | This is a great rustic and real reposado. Still plenty of agave here with vanilla, nuts, and hay on the nose. Flavor is thick and oily agave and slight oak with vanilla. Finish is super pleasant and dangerous, making you want to keep drinking it. This is small batch stuff, and it shows.
Lote 02 | Nose: A blast of “just out of the horno” agave. Bold, light colored tree fruit aromas: green apples and not yet fully ripe mangos. A sprinkle of cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice - and a dash of vanilla caramel. Slightly sour/slightly dry nasal tease of minerals, arid soil and dried grass clippings. A soft touch of leather tinged oak, fading out with citrus blossoms. Flavor: Sweet, peppery and buttery. Palate filling silkiness. Agave just oozing out…. Slightly nutty, slightly salty. Creamy vanilla laced cafe au lait rich sweetness perfectly offset by cardamom, pepper and anise warmth. Finish: A decadently delicious butterscotch note wends its way into the the final act. Texture, flavor and retrohale make for a memorable finish that lazily dallies along.
Lote 02 | Agave forward, warm, looooong, and complex. This beauty needs some time to breathe to fully appreciate what it has to offer. Wonderfully bright and changes as you sip it. What a fun adventure!
While aficionados tend to prefer blanco tequilas, and imbibers of dark spirits usually gravitate towards añejos, the reposado category is often overlooked.

Lote 05 | Great nose of agave, cinnamon, baking spice, citrus, anise, very beautiful overall, very wild common esque, like the ss/blanco with a hint of the barrel/wood note. Pallet is same, agave forward, some nuttiness, mostly herbal & bright though, just a tasty repo, medium finish, nice pepper/cinnamon on after taste which is pleasant, great value for $,
