Not terrible. Has a big olive/ brininess to it with a little heat, some anise and something sweet like a little vanilla and a slight bit of fruit (cantaloupe)

Mexican 35% abv. version, lote: L00121, bottled on 24-11-2021, tasted on 9-18-24. Transparent. Aroma: citrus, lime, lemon, light acidity, hint of citrus, sprite, hint of earthiness, smells like sprite without gas. Light menthol. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, also tastes like sprite without gas, ends a tad bitter maybe due to low abv. Finish is short, lime, lemon, citrus aromas persists but not long. Quite sweet and cloying at the end but of the unnatural kind.

I am unsure why cooking chicken near/with this tequila gives it a slight anise taste and finish but it does. Unlike other liquors where anise can take over the entire taste, it is subtle and just an added flavor in this tequila. Fantastic to try and have guests try when entertaining.

Additive bomb. Way too sweet. It seems like there might a good tequila underneath the additives but it’s too hard to tell.
