From memory: too spicy for my liking and the agave is not as pronounced as it is in the Blanco. Did not care for this expression.
Being in the US I get to try stuff like this that’s not available in Mexico. Classic additives profile with loads of vanilla, the price is decent so there’s that.
Just like the Blanco, loads of roasted agave on the nose, but instead of the brine I pick up some nutmeg & 5 spice. I’m not gonna lie, this took a huge dive from Blanco to Reposado for my taste. Almond & vanilla are here and the agave is diminished, reminds me of fruit cake. The boozy attack that is front and centre with the Blanco comes on at the end for this expression. Not my fave.
Nose: butter, vanilla, and oak Flavor: vanilla, and the sweetness seems to just take over Finish: all sweetness
I do pick up vanilla and pepper along with some oak but the alcohol taste is overwhelming and there is a bitter after taste that reminds of rubber. I would not recommend this for anything other than mixing drinks.
Slightly better than The Rock’s Blanco, only the aroma scored points with me. Harsh, astringent, chemical, bitter, and for the most , partly bordering on unpleasant to drink. My score was generous.
Aroma has butter, vanilla, and slight oak. Like the blanco it’s too sweet and simple for me. The finish is pretty much all vanilla.
Much like the blanco, but with a veil of barrel notes- vanilla, butter and American oak. Added sweetener still present. A bit more finish than the blanco and more flavor.
Medicinal fake oak. Artificial vanilla. Quick and unremarkable finish.
It tastes better than it smells. It isn’t great but it isn’t horrible.
I know a lot of people don't like this tequila just because it comes from a celebrity, but I like. I get Agave right away, doesn't have that strong alcohol taste. For the price and from where it comes is ok
Thanks Martino for the tasting. Aroma is subdued; not good nor bad. Taste is the best part—nice mouth feel with agave, butter and cinnamon. Finish is a bit rough with a lot of heat and pepper going down. Revised febrero 2022.
Aroma: agave and baking spices, hint of oak Taste: barrel dominant with cooked agave, caramel, pepper Finish: short but full.
Aroma: sweet notes (vanilla ?) but no agave. Taste: fair with some vanilla little caramel no oak or agave Finish: like the blanco it was quick with a little burn Overall: I tried to just for palate tasting development. It wasn’t bad but They’re better reposado in the same price range.
I decided to give Teremana Reposado a try by purchasing an airplane shot, and I’m glad I didn’t commit to a full bottle. The flavor is underwhelming, with a flat, overly sweet profile that feels unbalanced. The agave is barely noticeable, overshadowed by an almost artificial caramel and vanilla taste. The finish is harsh and lacks the smoothness I expect from a reposado. It doesn’t stand out in any way, and there are far better tequilas in the same price range. It's definitely not something I’d buy again, even for mixing.
For me no for sharing yes. Very decent.
Nose: Pickle Brine, Cotton, Carmel, Butter, Astringent, Earth Mouthfeel: Medium Bodied Palate: Black Pepper, Alcohol, Chapstick, Artificial sweetness Finish: Artificial Carmel Syrup, Ammonia I smell what the rock is cooking and I am not a fan. It's not the worst of the additive laden, celebrity tequilas I've had but it's still far below the typical standard of what I reach for. There were a lot of artificial notes and flavors here, which seem to show up on my palate as resembling a lip balm flavor of what it's supposed to taste like.. Not as bad as the Casamigos, but still a far cry from anything that I'd call a respectable tequila.
Might be a good mix but not much better than JQ! Not worth $35
more of a mixer or shooter than a sipper. solid rep
Owned by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
ok for mixing, would not sip.
A tad too much ‘burn’ for me.
Caramel with smooth and savery notes
Takes the taste of the Teremana Blanco and mellows out what little astringence or burn there is in the taste. Barrel flavor is subtle but detectable, and people who dislike barrel flavors will probably notice the difference more, but for me it just tastes a little more mellow than the blanco. I’d say it’s smoother and more preferable for just about any purpose.

Mild agave and oak with plenty of sweetness and artificial cotton candy and cake batter. This could be a good fit for someone new to tequila and love very sweet things. There are better options for those more experienced with tequila.
