Rich and warm aroma, smells like cognac but presents rather thin on the palette. Not my favorite expression, but this will fall into the sweet zone for most consumers.

Nose: some cooked agave, barrel spices, ripe peaches, raisins, and dried fruits Flavor: barrel spices are very forward, cooked agave is in the background, dried fruit, and a little earthy Finish is medium and peppery

not bad, but a little syrupy/ nuts kind of thing. Not sure if there's no additives, with the sweet sugar buzz going out

Totally artificial AF. Tastes like syrup. avoid.

Not usually an extra anejo drinker and not impressed with this. I get over bearing alcohol taste, pepper and the finish is not particularly appealing.

Well made XA, good depth. Agave shows well through 48 months of barrel age

Sampled at old town tequila. Aroma & taste caramel, vanilla. It lost me on the finish.

Nose: Cooked agave, hints of brown sugar and spices Taste: Cooked agave, hints of oak that I wish shone through more Finish: Smooth agave and hints of barrel notes that linger just long enough to be appreciated Overall: Delicious and smooth, but probably better tequilas to be found at the price point of $110

Caramel leathery notes, silk on the flavor. This one goes down well. This is a “me and the homies” solving the world’s problems in the garage beverage. You will need “old country” possibly Ray Wylee Hubbard

Warm and inviting…it’s good. I mean, it’s a good thing we went from white to this. I mean it’s sweet. Very nice notes of oak. Hmph. Mikey likes it. Wow. This is better than scotch. It is smoother and has a nice flavor. Scotch bites you a little bit and this one doesn’t.

Fascinating balance of whiskey finish, a similar sweet uptick on the finish as the silver, with this really confident and mature aroma and deep tones that are more caramel than toasted. Love it.

Fantastic nose. Buttercream, cooked agave, oak, vanilla, caramel, rum-raisin, banana. Golden amber color. Thick and creamy mouth feel / mildly oily. Flavors are complex, much like the nose. Bit of a whiskey-like profile to me. Sweet, agave forward, woody/nutty, dried fruit, followed by white-pepper and barrel spice. Nice lingering cinnamon-spice finish.

Decent XA. Good agave flavor. A little oaky. I actually picked up a little funk in this one—which, in this case, I was not a fan of.

A little hot on the smell, but a spicy taste with some oak kicks it into gear and perfect heat and flavor at the end.

Had at Blue Bat Smooth, vanilla, bourbon, honey sweetness, wood. Smell is a bit boozy, but flavor is smooth and warming.

I didn't know tequila could taste like this. Amazing complexity. Great aroma likes high end bourbon. Will be great with a cigar!

Very Smokey with strong brandy, oak, and hints of cherries and vanilla. While the flavor is exceptional, I expected a more robust spectrum via charred agave and sugary cask finish.
