For me, the aroma and taste is utterly delicious, truly gourmand. I could sip this while eating well-seasoned steaks, fish, and chicken. I loved the smokiness that reminded me of the smell and taste of mesquite while the spice seemed perfectly balanced. The minerality blends seamlessly into the total profile, and while I couldn’t detect agave, I didn’t expect to. I don’t hold it against this drink at all because it deserves its own category. I would gladly have this stocked in my pantry to complement my summer barbecues.

12/2023 NOM 1551 I'm rating this in a cocktail, not as a sipping tequila. I liked the jalepeño and habanero flavors more than the chipotle. the chipotle was a bit too smokey for my palate

Blanco is best followed by this. The nose is doable but flavored tequila is not my cup of tea

Not bad for what it is. Just not my cup of tea-quila

The aroma is like a chemically recreated smoke smell. The flavor has a very unpleasant and off-putting chemical taste- kind of reminiscent of Monte Alban mezcal. The finish, however, is quite nice and has a smoky spiciness.

The spicy is not for everyone, but it is very good for cocktails.

One of the more unique products I’ve stumbled upon. It’s smokey almost like a mezcal but different. I can sip this on the rocks no problem.

Great chipotle flavor that plays well with the fruity agave base

Not sure what you would do with this. I guess margarita, but I sampled with a cuervo mar mix and it was pretty bad. Maybe poor over your tacos and light it up 151 style
