NOM 1579 | This is for the 1579 repo. Beautiful nose of cooked agave, barrel notes such as vanilla and caramel with some oak. Dried fruit On the palate it is sweet and balanced. Slightly floral but brings forward the vanilla and caramel. There is a bit of minerality to the taste with oak and earthiness. Good finish though it doesn’t last too long. This is a good repo.

NOM 1584 | Aroma is nothing special. I’m fact i can’t get much at all. Taste is good. Not overly sweet, a little earthy. The finish is not very good. Short and a little bit bitter.

NOM 1579 | Agave barrel and grapefruit citrus. The citrus is less on the pallet and heavier on the agave, barrel and pepper. No harsh finish, easy to drink.

NOM 1579 | Aroma - minerality, black pepper, rosemary, clove. Flavor - olive, minerality, thyme, black pepper. Finish - very easy to drink with a long lasting peppery finish. Almost no chest burn and very soft mouth feel.

NOM 1579 | Powerful and structured (cooked agave, caramel, vanilla), with minerally richness and savory citrus/spice flavors. The distinctive use of deep well water throws a mineral punch with a white pepper finish under layered by a core of subtle baking spices. Anise/clove make an appearance. At some point reminded me of a orange zest buttery scone. Slight briny/mineral finish.

NOM 1579 | Delicious, almost on par with Terralta Reposado for me. I tend to like the more mineral offerings of El Pandillo and this is a great expression of that. 8-9 months reposado but, as with many offerings from El Pandillo, it just adds a perfect layer of wood, vanilla and a buttery feeling.

NOM 1579 | NOM 1579 — Extremely clean, almost complete absence of alcohol heat…just flavor! However still has a strong finish that carries. Cooked/fresh agave, fresh cut grass, orange blossom on the nose. Fruity on the palate; Pineapple, melon, honey, rose. Nice long finish where a bit more oaky sweetness shines through with vanilla, cooked agave and caramel.

NOM 1579 | Very nice aroma with agave, light sweetness and citrus. Flavor is similar to G4 repo (one of our favs) and good but not super complex. A little more spicy than G4. Finish is strong and good.

NOM 1579 | Very good. Smell of Vanilla, agave and dried fruit. Little to no burn. Order sweet but really good for a light repo. Light finish that doesn’t last long.

NOM 1579 | The flavors in this tequila don't stand out as they do in some of the toptier tequilas but still this is very good. You can taste the mineralality, flashes of pepper sometimes grapefruit which makes this very enjoyable.

NOM 1579 | Nose: Sweet, spicy, caramelized agave nose. Butterscotch, almonds and a touch of citrus in the backup choir. Flavors: Extremely light oak treatment. Tons of pepper (white), and spice, with a lingering anise note. I’m picking up some rye notes. Some herbal/vegetative nuances - sweet pickling cucumber? Rich caramel oily mouth feel. And some brininess.

NOM 1579 | Aroma : Cooked agave, black pepper, and some peach. Classic Pasote minerality here as well. Taste : Lots of cooked agave with some minerality, but not quite as much as the Blanco. Some pepper and spice here as well as some light peach. Oak is noticeable but doesn't stay on the palette long. Oily, but not necessarily a "full" mouthfeel. Finish : Medium/long and prolongs some flavors like cooked agave, and plenty of black pepper and cinnamon.

NOM 1579 | Great repo. Floral, agave, and a touch of vanilla on the nose. All that plus grapefruit and minerals in the flavor, with a smooth sip and slightly spicy and long finish.

NOM 1579 | what an incredibly clean reposado from Felipe Camarena. cooked sweet agave, vanilla, citrus, mineral on the nose. the agave and vanilla continues in the flavor along with rain water, butter, banana, pepper and some olive brine. very little wood detected (a big plus). medium mouth feel, medium finish. very reasonable price point for such a top reposado

NOM 1579 | I absolutely love this expression from Felipe’s line of Pasote. It retains the “mineraly” flavor from that captured rainwater and cooked agave of the amazingly delicious blanco expression, and imparts the herbaceous, vanilla/caramel of the aged juice in this delicious reposado. I would put this up against any reposado who utilizes the traditional methods of harvest/cooking/crushing/fermentation/distillation methods.
