At GDL airport bar and this was the only item on the list I haven't rated. Color is a dark amber in the glass. Might be added color as it's quite a bit darker than the reposado it is next to on the shelf. Aroma of cooked agave, caramel, oak and a hint of whiskey. Flavors are similar with some cinnamon there as well. Okay finish but doesn't last long.

Strong barrel notes, caramel vanilla stand out. Not a lot of depth and a little watery but it's fine as a low end option.

Old dusty bottle. Nose: Appealing aromas of ripe red fruit, agave, round barrel spices and hints of apple, pear and citrus. Flavor: Vanilla, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, toasted hazelnuts, fruit and pepper. Finish: Fairly long. An odd background aftertaste.

Decent aroma but not good tasting. The finish carries some unusual and not pleasant flavors.

Hmm very interesting. Taste likes a caramel peppermint.

extremely smooth finish. spicy, citrus in the middle that vanishes into a soft finish.

If you like to smoke cigars with you tequila this the one. It’s like tequila and bourbon meet and make a perfect cigar match. Smooth and flavorful like a bourbon and the party of a tequila. I highly recommend.

Smelt primary alcohol bit of oak. Taste of Oak and little vanilla. Average to my taste buds. Won't buy again

Nice aroma. Vanilla filled promises. A little harsh on the sip. Definitely whiskey barrel heavy and almost to the detriment of it. Not bad, but nothing to write home about.

Vanilla seems too strong to be developed in barrel over 13 months. Too sweet for me.

Vanella, wood (barrica), caramel

Caramel and vanilla aroma with some oak. Vanilla and cinnamon taste with some citrus notes. Finish could be better.

Good choice only if others are worse... Nothing traditional about this but smooth and drinkable

Maestro Dobel has very good and value tequilas. The Añejo is one of my favorites because of the caramel and oak notes. The agave is also notable and goes well in mixed drinks, like the Mexican Old Fashion.

Caramel, wood and alcohol aroma. Brown sugar, alcohol and oak flavor. Mild finish. Okay.

Nose : Inviting sweet , vanilla , caramel Taste : Heavy on vanilla sweetness , oak flavor with a very medicinal additive sweet aftertaste , not very complex . Too sweet for my taste .

Nothing that makes me say wow. Tastes alright, but nothing memorable. Nose: good aroma, vanilla, wood, had to look for the agave but it’s there. Taste: again, nothing made me say whoa. Pretty unremarkable notes of wood, oak, smoke.

Tried at Morenos Liquor in Chicago. Exclusive to Morenos one rested in Hungarian Barrels.

Very vanilla on the nose, not good vanilla, fake vanilla. The barrel notes are fine, the agave is buried under heavy additives. Classic TequiLIE from Cuervo. Buy something better for the same money.
