Barrel Aged Tequila Uses the Best of Buffalo Trace’s and Van Winkle Barrels
Nose has a lot of citrus notes, mostly lime zest. Mild agave, but something oddly medicinal as well. Sharp acidic entry which dissipates quickly. Mid-palate is mildly bitter, with a good spicy kick on the roof of my mouth and back of throat. Finish is short, with some honey sweetness. This would be fine at the regular Corazon price point, but it just doesn't justify premium pricing. As such I cannot recommend it.
