NOM 1535 | Not bad. The aroma is herbaceous with a hint of cinnamon and maybe some lemon rind. The taste is ok. Kinda thin and limited agave but not bad. Finish is meh.

NOM 1535 | Pretty bottle with a func cap. On the nose is caramel, vanilla and perhaps a bit of cooked agave Palette is strange sweetness and artificial flavors. Finish is faint, very little agave and no heat at all. I would offer this as a sipper to someone that has never sipped tequila. This would work well as a gateway into the tequila journey.

A lot of alcohol burn in this one. Some basic flavors caramel, cinnamon. It's fine if there are no better options available.

NOM 1519 | Wood, agave, baking spice and black pepper on the nose. Well balanced flavors consistent with the aroma. Smooth and pleasant. The price eliminates this one for me. There are a number of comparable repos at a much lower price

NOM 1535 | Weak flavor and finish, just a hint of spice at the end. May work well in a margarita.

I had put this off because of hype and price, but was surprised. Nose is good with a little alcohol, but wood and slight natural sweetness in initial aroma. On the palate it is good and has more flavor than expected. The finish is a little bitter and a little bite, but this is a good sipper and nice bottle. The price is hard because it puts it up against (depending on your area and applicable taxes) tequila ocho and some others that are better in quality overall. The Deleon repo is good and worth having in your collection.

Tried all 3 expressions a couple times as this was a new tequila at the restaurant. The reposado is decent and average or bit better in taste. Smooth , a little oak, nothing to fake was apparent . Bottle looks classy .

NOM 1535 | Strong olive, some alcohol on the nose. Silky mouthfeel, bit of spice. Peppery-spice, warm finish but a bit harsh - has a “moonshine” character; like a high proof, low-quality grappa.

NOM 1535 | Little hot on the finish for first sip for my taste. Got smoother with each sip.

DeLeon Reposado $45USD (Virginia ABC) Summary: A moderately priced reposado, highlighted by an inviting nose and a so-so taste . Is it bad? No. Is it remarkable? No. Nose: Enjoyable. Light roasted agave, butterscotch, green banana fruit, and black pepper. Lightly oaked and a hint of cinnamon spice. Taste: Silky mouthfeel that turns slightly bitter at the end. Carmel and a hint of vanilla, orange citrus, and oak. Black pepper and cinammon spice. Finish: Mild sweetness with a black pepper bite that lingers.

Very light smell of agave. Nice. I like it. First taste kinda harsh burn (sorta make you want make the face) and not overly smooth. Finish is a big sweet surprise as it it very sweet and that sweetness lingers and sticks to your lips. Not bad but not one I probably buy again.

Omg this crap is not worth 70 dollars! I only got it because it was on sale for 36.00. I was for sure it would be "ultra premium" and it wasnt. I will never purchase this again, regardless of the sale price.

NOM 1535 | Aroma does not particularly stand out, notes of pepper and agave. Body is nice, spicy with undertones of sweet vanilla. Finish is peppery with a bit of a bite.

Considerably better than the diamanté (blanco) but still rates as an average tequila at best. Has a bit more bite than I would prefer but the flavor and aroma aren't bad. I only picked it up since the price has dropped to 35$.
