Aroma of raw agave and grass. Flavor of agave and black pepper. Medium finish.
Tons of mint and agave sweetness, short and sweet ending, no additives that I can detect.
Earthy aromas; black pepper forward in aroma and on the palate fades to agave. Melony, smooth finish.
Very earthy, kind of Smokey.
Aroma was very complex. At first I got notes of agave and pepper. But, after a minute I started to get banana and mint. The taste has an upfront kick of pepper, mellows into a nice agave flavor and finishes with a little mint at the back of the mouth.
Complex aromas - sharp and medicinal initially evolving to more mellow mint and banana. Smooth peppery flavor that coats the mouth. Finish lingers at the front of the mouth with pepper flavor.
A very natural tasting tequila. The nose is earthy with mild roast agave, citrus and a hint of olive. The taste is moderately sweet, with decent roast agave presence, a nice alcohol balance with moderate astringency and a pleasant mint and cinnamon finish.
the cooked agave overpowers the aroma, a little earthy. alcohol and grassy flavors are dominant. Harsh finish, will use for margaritas, bottle is pretty nice.
Aroma of agave, earth, grass and minerals. Flavor is harsh with overpowering notes of black pepper and earth. Finish has a harsh burn with strong peppery taste.
Really nice smell. Soft on pallet. Very strong fire taste. Heating in throat. Nice after finish.
Doesn’t smell sweet. Light flavour with a smooth finish that doesn’t linger on the tastebuds but warms you from the inside.
Warming very long finish. Nice, warm, great for fall.
Aroma was very pleasant and surprising. A bottle this cool usually has a lot to be desired. Taste was good and the mint and agave was light and sweet. There was a bit of a peppery start and had some bite. Once on the lips it settled and followed with a short finish
Agave and pepper notes
Citrus and pepper aroma notes Taste is ok. Light to med body. Spicy and not too agave forward. Lemongrass
Nom 1558. A hit and miss distillery. Earthy agave with a smooth finish. Some mint and sweetness. The aroma is non descript. Neither good nor bad. The flavor and mouthfeel and finish are good. A good low to mid 80s tequila which may hit your flavor profile. Worth a try based on to fact alone. Reminder. Never buy based on the bottle or promotion. I think you will like it. Don't be dissuaded by the bottle. Good tequila..
Minty and smooth.
Nose is confected. Grassy - not cohesive across the palate. Spice was very disconnected Acid++ Cinnamon +++
Nothing remarkable, but still very good. Earthy with definite agave presence, little bit of something citrus. Interesting bottle too. Easy drinking. Not worth the $70 I paid for it after tax, but I don’t regret spending the money either.
This intriguing flavour invokes a sensation of two small armoured mammals fucking.
Vegetal and fresh notes, citrus zing n kapow! Nice agave notes, awesome blanco, love it
An earthy blanco with a peppery finish
Nice blanco. Clean, vegetal, tons of agave. Love it!!
Light. That’s what I take away from the initial taste. Mid-finish displays some sweetness, not very rooted in agave. There is a ‘rubbery’ flavour that is a bit interesting. Finishes fairly dry. Re-rate 2 years later. Nose was definitely nice, I enjoyed the light honeyed tones of vanilla and banana. The flavour of the tequila leaves much to be desired. Quite thin and the yeasty dry finish is not my fav.

Notes of raw agave, medicinal, herbal, mint, grass, vegetal & olives. A very green profile is aroma and taste.
