Some pearls floating in the glass for several minutes after pouring into the Glencairn. The nose has an herbal funk and this has some bitterness that persists through the finish and left my tongue prickly. Follow-up the next day of the remnants gives a very earthy nose.

Blind: Butterscotch nose (?) with some floral agave. Sweet agave and mineral taste. Nothing stands out but everything works well. Extra points for super value. Will have to revisit.

So like the 42 ABV sister, this is a good tequila. The flavor is bolder with the higher ABV but not overpowering. Great nose with agave and vegetal notes. Citrus and herbal notes fill the nose. The taste is sweet and buttery I get fruitiness and a slight amount of alcohol. The finish is good with great sweetness that lingers.

Nose: I am surprised by how much cooked agave I am pick up here.. Also getting green bell pepper, vegetal notes, white pepper and the slightest hint of anise. I'm very impressed by the nose on this. Mouthfeel: Very weightless mouthfeel. Definitely lighter than I would've assumed. Flavor: Cooked Agave and HEAVY black pepper, a bit of a brinyness to it as well Finish: Black pepper, cooked agave, mint and alcohol. There's some bitterness in the middle but the finish is black pepper and the sweetness of cooked agave. It seems that the breaths that occur post finish give off progressively fruity vibes in the key of mango or stonefruit.

Mexican 50% abv. versión, front label is red, lote: TB281023TV, bottled on 19-12-2023, tasted on 2-23-24 Aroma: light sweet agave that is quite herbaceous, hint of brine, light acidity, light citrus, agave fibers, light green vegetal notes. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, brinier & greener on the palate, raw agave is more pronounced on the palate too. Finish is medium to long, raw agave, herbaceous, hint of brine, light acidic and green vegetal notes persist.
