N- agave, brine, black pepper, hay, herbs, mint T- Cooked agave, brine, black pepper, plum, mint MF- medium F- Medium in length and finishes very clean
Aroma: Orange blossom up front, a definite sweetness on the aroma, with some minerality, very light overall. Flavor: Light citrus, some herbal notes, basil mainly. An earthy, vegetal profile as well, quite different from the aroma, with a pleasantly smooth mouthfeel. Finish: Vegetal and herbal black pepper notes that remain for a decent length of time but can become slightly bitter.
Aroma/Taste: This tequila has an interesting mix of earthy aromas like mushrooms and yeast, along with dill, tobacco, and a bit of citrus from lime and orange peel. I also picked up some floral notes, like roses and marigolds. On the taste side, there's anise and mint, sweet cooked agave, and a bit of jalapeño and black tea, with a nice black pepper kick. Finish: The finish is spicy and a little harsher than I’d like. Overall: Tasted blind, I liked the smell more than the taste, and the taste more than the finish. It wasn’t my favorite of the group, but it’s got some unique qualities.
Nose: mineral/ vegetal / earth / hint of pear / lime / bell pepper/ hint of tea / hint of lavender / faint alcohol Taste: sweet cooked agave / hint of cinnamon/ anise / banana/ apple / lime/ spearmint/ tea/ tiniest hint of tobacco / cream soda Finish: a very wet and watery finish/ lingering mild agave sweetness/ lingering pepper/tobacco/ and earthiness This blanco has a nice mild sweetness that works with the light pepper notes on the palate. There’s nothing specifically bold here….just some good working palate notes; unfortunately this blanco has a very weak nose.
Nose- agave, citrus little alcohol Taste- very light with agave, citrus and pepper up front anise in the middle
A bit acrid on the nose, burnt vegetation. Sweet on entry, more so than several other samples. This develops in the mouth to a full on buzz bomb with tongue tingling and lip numbing, a whole mouth sensory experience.
"Big" fruity Aroma - strawberries and even figs on the nose and whiff of eucalyptus. That fruity aroma carried thru in the taste with a delicate sweetness but not overpowering. Finish wonderfully lingered and left wanting more.
exelente tequila
floral
Olor mineral, dulce, gran cuerpo. Sabor dulce, fuerte, final aterciopelado.
Cuerpo medio, aroma y sabor agave cocido, dulce al paladar, notas minerales, sensación aterciopelado.
Herbal, Tierra mojada
Butter and Mint
Is a crystal clear and brilliant liquid. It smells like cooked agave, notes like pumpkin and sweet aromas, a little bit of minerals notes. In mouth is a tequila with “character”, it feels a little bit burning. Also it tastes sweet and fruity, and the cooked agave it keeps present. The sensorial profile is so complex, so is recommended to enjoying it in single drinks.
It's a good Tequila, the bottle is nice, the flavor is not the best, but I like it.
Tiene un buen aroma y un buen sabor a agave cosido
Aroma: sweet, herbal, citrus, I think I detect a little column distillation, could be wrong. Flavor: sweet, caramel, herbal, citrus like orange peel. Very light and easy to drink for a 40º I'm surprised, it tastes much better than expected.
Blind Taste Tested Aroma- citrus similar to orange blossom, a bit herbal, maybe a hint lactic Flavor- smooth mouth feel, herbal, a bit one note Finish- herbal with a hint of sweetness at first that fades to bitterness and alcohol
The smell of agave is followed by malolactic funk, celery, herbs, pepper, and earth. Taste is agave forward that leads to lime, honeydew, light funk and pepper. Finishes with a light mouth feel with a cinnamon type of heat.
