On the nose I’m getting sweetness from the cooked agave and a floral honeysuckle note. Overall the nose is sweet and clean. On the palate I get some vegetal agave up front that has some sweetness. Then the spice kicks in. It’s jalepeno flesh and then hot cinnamon before turning into black pepper. There’s some slight mint and alcohol tingle. It’s sweet, spicy and clean. Overall this tequila has a clean and sweet nose. The taste is less sweet than the nose but peppery. The finish is short with lingering sweetness and spice. This tequila is clean and it’s an easy sipper. It would also do well in any tequila cocktail that calls for a hint of sweetness.
