The aroma had a bit of funk reminiscent of wet tobacco which I didn’t mind and caramel while the taste was a tad bit too sweet for my liking with an woody finish. I prefer the Reposado over this one. This was a sample tasting, I’d have to sit with a whole bottle to really explore what it has to offer.

whiskey and caramel on aroma and flavor with some oak on the back end. an aspartame finish lingers on the tongue. the better of the three expressions, but the bar is low. Chalk this line up as a typical celebrity brand

Liquor store sample…. Mildly sweet and smooth. Definitely something of a “gateway tequila” for your non-believer friends. Easy sipper - not something for my collection, but would not pass up if offered.

Butterscotch and alcohol aroma. Alcohol and caramel flavor with strong burn. Mild finish.

Advertised as additive free. Heavy caramel and oak on the nose. Taste is the same with cooked agave sandwiched in, but the finish is short. Decent for a celebrity backed tequila. Price point is tough though - there are better products in the 40-60$ range.

For this price you can find a lot better. Start is ok but not a ton of flavors then ends with a burn that’s not really worth it. Wouldn’t buy again.

Alcohol on the nose up front but with more carmel, oak, and vanilla. Carmel, Oak, and Vanilla on the nose vaguely a little bit of cream and some vegetal notes brown sugar on the finish as well. It's not my favorite but light years ahead of the reposado. It's definitely not as bad as expected after trying the reposado, but there is still a lot of room for improvement.

Vanilla, agave, and cream soda on the nose. I can already tell the sweeteners are coming... Palate: agave, vanilla, cream soda, sugar, alcohol is light mid palate but kicks in at the end.  Some bitterness on the finish.  Def can taste additives on the anejo, it drinks like a hastily produced liqueur. hard pass.

If you are a bourbon drinker, this might be what you are looking for. The aging does lose a great deal of the agave aroma. It is replaced by a sweet caramel woody aroma. The taste and finish are subdued of an already smooth mild flavor of the blanco.

Smooth on the nose. Very vanilla/caramel like, as well on the taste when sipping or taking shots. The agave spice is still present just not to heavy. Would compare this tequila to Komos crystalino añejo and clase azul. Was able to find this at for $55 which is half the price of Komos and azul.

This was better than I expected. The notes are of oak, honey and butterscotch. It has a sweet flavor of oak and butterscotch with a descent finish. There is still a small rasp to it, but finishes fairly smoothly.

Chocolate and vanilla up front with nothing to carry through the tasting. No alcohol “tinge” and it disappears way too fast.

Easy to sip tastes of Vanilla and rose. However a bit of a kick on the after taste and does not have much of a smell however it tastes good

Chocolatey-like aroma. Smooth with rich sweetness and cinnamon spice notes. Not as harsh of alcohol burn compared to Pantalones Blanco.
