I wanted to like this Tequila but something just didn't sit well with me. I figured an Organic tequila coming from the Tequila Tap Distillery had to be at least somewhat decent, even it it was a celebrity Tequila. I got some carmel, cinnamon and vanilla but it all tasted artificial, the tequila had a light thin viscosity and the finish had an alcohol burn and bitter aftertaste that I've noticed with lower quality tequilas I've had. Although this tequila is classified as "Organic", I have my doubts as to whether or not it is additive free.
Very sweet Aroma. At first there’s a punch of whiskey followed by an overwhelming amount of coconut. Flavor is extremely sweet of vanilla and butterscotch. Not much else going on and void of any agave flavor.
Tastes really artificial. Total Wine had additive free claims on all the bottles. It didn’t taste additive free.
butterscotch, vanilla, confetti cake, caramel dominate aroma and flavor. where is the cooked agave? this is the worst of the three expressions. boldly manipulated.
Tastes of mellow agave, sweet vanilla, a hint of citrus, and a hint of metal. it was moderately sweet with a syrupy texture. I didn't like this one.
The nose is barely there, just the mildest hints of alcohol and agave. Palate is overwhelming in comparison with vanilla, clove, baking spice, and pepper to a somewhat caustic degree. Hot, rough finish.
Matthew McConaughey should be embarrassed to put out such a weak product for an exorbitant price.
Sweet vanilla aroma is overpowering. Taste is better than expected, but not memorable. Mild with minimal agave character.
Nose: Not alright, alright, alright Flavor: Not alright, alright, alright Finish: Not alright, alright, alright Overly sweet. Definitely manipulated. Hard pass.
Nose: really sweet, not much barrel or agave Taste: early roasted agave, light barrel, cinnamon, caramel Finish: minimal heat, on short side, super smooth I really didn’t want to like this celebrity tequila, and while not what I’d normally expect from a repo, this was surprisingly drinkable Definitely alright, alright, alright
Sweet and oaky taste and finish
Pantalones Tequila offers a light and mild profile that makes it a great choice for those seeking a relaxed sipping experience. Its pale color and subtle flavor evoke a sense of refinement, perfect for enjoying on a quiet evening or as a delicate introduction to tequila for newcomers. While its mild nature makes it less suitable for pairing with bold or rich foods, it does pair beautifully with lighter fare, such as white fish or shellfish, where its understated qualities can shine without being overpowered. For those who appreciate a more subdued, easy-drinking tequila, Pantalones is an excellent option. Its gentleness makes it a versatile choice for casual occasions or moments when a softer touch is preferred.
9 month aged repo. decent amount of cinnamon and oak on the nose and palate but there's a decent amount of vanilla and buttercream that comes through on the end that's a little off putting.
Heavy on the vanilla and not much else.
It's definitely not additive free, but it's a smooth organic tequila.
Sweet carmel/vanilla. Similar to Casamigos Only cheaper. Good tequila for a beginner or those who like it sweet.
Nose: agave, cinnamon, and cantaloupe on the nose with lots of floral and ginger ale. additives definitely detected. Pallette: agave, vanilla, and cinnamon. Spicy finish with some alcohol. Def on the sweeter side. if you like "sweet and smooth" then get it, if you like traditional steer WAY clear.
Very sweet, vanilla syrup-y mouthfeel.
honey aroma
Taste very ethanol. Very disappointing Taste is very artificial.
Typical celebrity tequila, no frills bottle and reasonable price. Tastes better chilled than on the rocks. Vanilla taste. Finish is disappointing.
Didn’t care for it… very sweet and one note with a sweetness that just seemed to linger on my tounge
Too sweet. Tastes like it has additives. Disappointed.
Taste has a vanilla-like sweetness that’s very similar to tequilas with additives like Casamigos and Clase Azul. Hints of cinnamon spice.

The aroma had distinctive caramel and oak wafts, however the taste was a bit more peppery than anticipated with an ok finish. This was a sample tasting, I’d have to sit with whole bottle to really explore what it had to offer Update: 5/24/25- the aroma is still sweet with heavy vanilla, caramel and very light pepper. The taste is vanilla that rolls into tropical fruit citrus, light oak, light pepper quite swiftly with ethyl prominent but complimentary. A light berry note in the finish.
