Definitely has tannins (dye mouth feel) like a wine would. Notes of pepper, with the DNA of an extra anejo. The value is great for an almost 8 yr tequila.

Absolute bargain for the price (paid about $100) for a single barrel tequila aged almost 8 years. Very unique in that you do get very subtle wine notes from the wine barrel but agave remains present. Very enjoyable tequila which certainly gets bonus points for value.
