tasted a sample at NW Liquor 12/22/23 it was decent, no wow factor. but i didn't realize the price was $65 USD. too high priced for this tequila, in my opinion. if u want a better 1480 expression at a reasonable price, I recommend Aldez for $20 less

Not great but not bad either. Overly sweet for my liking. Nose: lots a vanilla, agave but mostly raw agave, citrus, and earth. Palate: same as the nose. Lots of vanilla, raw agave, citrus, and earth. Lots of vanilla sweetness is the main standout here. For the price point there are others I would reach for over this one.

Super lactic, strawberry milk on the nose (after sitting) nuttiness on the finish. Vanillin. Plus the typical blanco notes. Good amount of agave flavor.

Slight smoke, some spice and earth. Good finish.

Nose: pretty light in the nose! vanilla, light agave and citrus. Palate: Vanilla, citrus, earthy, and a bit of agave. Tastes like it has additives.. Finish: short! Overall, I wouldn’t buy or recommend to a friend… there’s so many other better options! Free pour from a local liquor store!

40% abv., LOTE03BDM, acquired recently, tasted on 5-1-24. Aroma: light acidity, hint of citrus, mineral/light metallic aroma, hint of fruitiness, hint of cooked agave aroma, hint of earthiness. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, rounded edges, smooth. The sweetness on the nose and palate doesn’t seem 100% natural. Finish is medium to medium long, light acidity, hint of citrus, hint of fruity sweetness, hint of herbal aromas persist.

not a bad tequila with light notes citrus, little nose and really not much complexity with taste unless you like earth and big vegetal. My biggest negativity is this Tequila is way overpriced and nowhere near the quality of others at this price point. this really knocked down the rating.

Soft nose. Earthy, brine, green olive. Sweet and warm. Nice finish.

Casa Azul Blanco ($65 USD) offers nothing in the way of Aroma, Taste, or Finish. On a slight positive note, there is nothing offensive. I'm left perplexed as where this fits in the world of tequillas. Perhaps the uninitiated will enjoy the lack of character, but it is a huge miss for me at its price point.

Earthy, funky nose from the natural yeasts. Smells like a winter batch with those lactic aromas. Herbal and rocky tequila. Won't get lost in a margarita or cantarita.
