Aroma: Cooked Agave, Caramel, Floral, Baking Spice, Pear Palate: Cooked Agave, Pear, Baking spices, Cinnamon, Medium Body, Medium Finish
Incredible barrel flavor, but the agave stands up to it because of the unique earthy flavor profile that la pulga employs. Darker and richer than several añejos I’ve tried. Massive bargain for those that enjoy aged tequilas.
Literally zero.flavor but alcohol. Terrible.
Aroma: honey, sweet agave, lemon, minerals, light mint Taste: honey/sweetness. Very good minerality and mint as well. Smokey agave notes. Smooth and buttery Finish: like the blanco, WOW! Amazing finish. Sweet buttery notes along with the mint linger well after.
Very nice and rich tequila. Big oak flavor from the second use barrel. Well balanced with tons agave and spicy wood notes
Fresh clean wood, cooked agave, vanilla, burnt sugar (creme brûlée)
